Invitation for Pre-qualification and Submission of Tender for Year 2013 TETFUND Special Intervention
(1.0) Introduction
The Governing Council of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogobomoso, invites interested and qualified Contractors for pre-qualification and submission of tender on the construction of Faculty of Pure and Applied Sciences Complex
(2.0) Pre-qualification Requirements
(a) Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) by inclusion of Certificate of Incorporation and Articles of Association.
(b) Registration with LAUTECH in relevant category
(c) Company Audited Account for the last 3 years (2011, 2012, 2013)
(d) Evidence of Tax Clearance Certificate for the last 3 years (2011, 2012, 2013).
(e) Evidence of Financial Capability.
(f) Experiences/Technical qualification and experiences of key personnel
(g) Similar verifiable projects executed and evidence of knowledge of the industry.
(h) Equipment and technical capacity.
(i) Annual Turnover.
(j) VAT Registration and evidence of past VAT remittances.
(k) Evidence of compliance with the provision of Pension Reform Acts.
(l) Evidence of compliance with the provisions of the industrial Training Fund (ITF) Amendment Act No. 19 of 2011. Evidence of payment of non… refundable pre-qualification fee of N100,000.00 through Bank Draft in fovour of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogobomoso, to be exchanged for University official receipt at the Bursary Department.
(n) Arrangement of document to follow the list above and appropriately numbered with a table of content indicating the pages or folios on which the items are to be found.
Any submission that does not conform to this format shall not be processed further.
(o) A statement of Declaration that:
(i) The Directors of the Company seeking Pre-qualification had never been convicted in criminal proceedings by court of law.
(ii) Name of the key procurement officers of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, is a former or present Director of the Company.
(3.0) Collection of Pre-qualification form and Financial Bidding Documents
(a) Pre-qualification form and Financial Bid documents will be available for collection at the office of the Head, Physical Planning Unit upon payment of N100,000.00 at the Bursary department covering both Pre-qualification and Financial Bid documents.
(b) Interested contractors are advised to come with a flash drive to copy the Bid documents that must be returned along with the Hard Copy at the time of submission.
(4.0) Submission of Pre-qualification Document
All duly completed pre-qualification and financial Bid documents must be submitted in separate envelopes. The envelopes should be marked “Pre-Qualification” or “Financial Bids” with the appropriate project Lot, name of the contractor boldly written on the top of the envelopes and to be dropped in a tender box in the office of the Registrar Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Oyo State and hand delivery to the Office of the registrar on or before 25th December 2014. Both the pre-qualification and Financial Bid documents will be closed for submission at 12.00 noon on the closing date while opening of bids would commence at 1.00pm. on the closing date in the University Senate Building.
All prospective contractors and interested members of the public are invited to witness the opening exercise.
(5.0) Invitation
Contractors are hereby requested to indicate their interest in participating in the pre-qualification exercise, following which only qualified contractors with proven track records on similar works will be invited to competitively tender for the project.
(6.0) Disclaimer and Conclusion
(a) This announcement is published for information purposes only does not constitute an offer by the University to transact with any party, nor does it constitute a commitment or obligation on the part of the University to procure works or goods.
(b) Failure to comply with the above requirements would automatically result in disqualification, while documents submitted late shall be rejected.
(c) The University reserves the right to verify the authenticity of claims mode in the documents submitted.
(d) The University will not be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by any interested party in connection with any response to the invitation
(e) The University is not bound to pre-quality any bidder and reserves the right to annul the selection process at any time without incurring any liabilities.
