The Management of Federal College of Education (Technical) Potiskum wishes to invite interested, reputable and competent Firms (Consulting / Engineering) for its 2013 Regular/Special TETFUND intervention and 2014 Capital Projects.
Scope of Consultancy Services
(Prepare Comprehensive Engineering drawings for the Construction of School of
(Early Childhood and Primary Education Complex (Prepare all Contract / Tender documents for: –
- Construction of School of Early Childhood and Primary Education
- Purchase and Installation of Generator sets
- Furnishing of Classrooms and Offices
- Supply and Installation of Laboratory Equipments
- Supply and Installation of Workshop Equipments, and
- Provision of Solar Powered Street Lights
Submission of Expression of Interest (EOIs)
- Expression of interest from prospective Firms / Consultants should specify the following information as a basis for pre-qualification.
- Registration with the College, Federal Ministry Works or Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) is a pre-requisite. Profile of Firms / Companies including Names and Curriculum Vitae of Top
- Executives who will be assigned to the services being applied for.
- Evidence of track records in similar consulting projects
- Full details of Company’s profile which must include Names, Corporate Registration Certificate, Contact address, Telephone Numbers (GSM) and e-mail address
- Curriculum Vitae of key personnel, Curriculum Vitae of personnel proposed for project site and experiences on similar projects
- Tax clearance certificates for the last three (3) years
- Company Audited Accounts for the past three (3) years
- Evidence of 1 % remittance of Annual Payroll to ITF / National Social Insurance Trust Fund
- Evidence of remittance of employees pension to PENCOM / Exemption in accordance with the Pension Reform Act, 2004 for those Firms / Companies with five (5) employees or more.
- Sworn affidavit in line with Section 16, Sub-section e f of Public Procurement Act.
Assessment Criteria
(The responses will be reviewed and those Consultants deemed best qualified will (be selected in accordance with the set out procedures by BPP Guidelines: – selection and Employment of Consultants.

This submission for pre-qualification shall not be construed to be a commitment to (the part of the College nor shall it entitle any person to make claims and / or seek (indemnity from the College by virtue of such person having responded to this /advert.

Not later than 30th June, 2014. The documents are to be properly sealed in an envelope and marked clearly with the Scope of Service (a – f) and dropped in the Tender Box stationed in the Procurement Unit of the College within the Official Hours (9:00AM 4:00PM) within the weekdays and addressed to: –
