Invitation for Pre-Qualification for Tertiary Education Trust Fund (Tetfund) Intervention Projects
1.0 Introduction
The Rivers State University of Science and Technology desires to execute some projects under the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETfund) intervention projects. Consequently, competent and reputable registered Contractors/Suppliers are requested to express their interest for purposes of Pre-Qualification.
2.0 Projects/Scope of Work
(A) Construction
Construction of Two-Storey Office/Complex
(B) Office Furniture/Requirement
(i) Office Tables, etc.
(ii) Air-conditioners, Multi-Media System etc.
3.0 Pre-Qualification Requirements
(i) Collection and completion of University pre-qualification form with a non-refundable deposit ofN20,000.00
(ii) Certificate of Incorporation or Registration of Business Name
(iii) Tax Clearance Certificate for the past three (3) years.
(iv) Verifiable evidence of the existence of a functional office or location of business.
(v) Verifiable evidence to show that Contractor or Supplier has handled similar project(s) in the past.
(vi) In the case of supply of furniture and equipment, proof of availability of stock.
4.0 General Information
(i) Interested, reputable, competent and registered Contractors/Suppliers, in any of the above categories should:
(a) Obtain clearance to proceed from the Director of Works.
(b) Proceed to Skye Bank, RSUST Branch with the Clearance Certificate and pay the non-refundable deposit of N20,000.00 (Twenty Thousand Naira only) to the University Business Account
(c) Obtain University official receipt from the Bursary Department before proceeding to the office of the Director of works to collect the prequalification documents.
(ii) Completed pre-qualification documents should be submitted to the office of the Director of Works on or before Monday the 30th of June, 2014.
(iii) After the pre-qualification exercise, the names of the shortlisted Companies will be published on the Notice Board of the Estate and works Department.
(iv) Only short-listed Contractors/Suppliers, for each category, will be issued Tender documents
