Invitation for Pre-Qualification
The College hereby invites competent and reputable contractors to submit pre-qualification documents for the under-listed projects under the 2013 and 2014 TETFund normal intervention:
LOT 1: Construction and furnishing of 1 no. storey building comprising 20 nos. academic staff offices
LOT 2: Construction and furnishing of Agricultural laboratory complex
LOT 3: Construction and furnishing of Fine Arts complex
LOT 4: Construction and furnishing of Physical and Health Education (PHE) complex
LOT 5: Construction and furnishing of French laboratory
LOT 6: Rehabilitation and furnishing of Students Hostel 1
LOT 7: Rehabilitation and furnishing of Students Hostel 2
LOT 8: Rehabilitation and furnishing of Students Hostel 3
LOT 9: Rehabilitation and furnishing of Students Hostel 4
LOT 10: Landscaping/external works for lecture halls
LOT 11: Landscaping/external works for science laboratory
LOT 12: Rehabilitation of sports complex
LOT 13: Procurement of 1 No. Toyota Hiace standard roof ambulance, petrol engine, AC ARS CD player, SRS air bags including ambulance accessories locally built
LOT 14: Supply and Installation of office furniture Type A, including 60 No. executive tables and extension, 60 No. high quality chairs, 120 visitors’ chairs, 200 window blinds complete with accessories
LOT 15: Supply and installation of office Type A, including 60 No. executive tables and extension, 60 No. high quality chairs, 120 visitors’ chairs, 200 window blinds complete with accessories
LOT 16: Supply and installation of laboratory equipment
LOT 17: Procurement of furniture and equipment for Integrated Science
LOT 18: Procurement of furniture and equipment for Biology Department
2.0 Pre-Qualification Requirements
Mandatory (Without which companies will be disqualified):
(a.) Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
(b.) Evidence of tax clearance for the last three (3) years
(c.) Certificate of compliance issued by the National Pension Commission, PENCOM
(d.) Evidence of VAT registration and VAT remittance
(e.) Evidence of payment of training contribution to Industrial Training Fund (ITF)
(g.) Reference letter from bank
(h.) Evidence of successful execution of project(s) of similar scope and completion certificate
(i.) List of equipment to be deployed for the project
(j.) Comprehensive company profile showing Management team
(k.) Comprehensive company profile showing technical team for the project
3.0 Submission of Pre-Qualification Documents
Completed documents addressed to the Registrar/Secretary to Tenders’ Board, Kogi State College of Education, Ankpa, should be enclosed in an envelope marked ‘pre-qualification’ with appropriate LOT at the top left hand corner of the sealed envelope and must be deposited with the Registrar on or before 12.00 noon, 28th May, 2015. Pre-qualification documents shall be opened at 12.00 on the same day.
(a.) The company’s full name, address, GSM numbers and e-mail are required for ease of communication
(b.) The participation process in the bid does not guarantee any company the right to be selected or given the job.
(c.) The College will not entertain any correspondence from any unsuccessful bidder.
(d.) The College reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to terminate the selection process at any time, in public interest, without incurring any liability.
(e.) Any bid document submitted after the closing date shall not be considered.
(f.) Only successful pre-qualified companies will proceed to the financial tender stage.
