Invitation for Pre-Qualification
In line with the requirement for due process for award of contracts, the Federal School of Surveying, Oyo wishes to invite competent and qualified Contractors to submit documents for pre-qualifications for’ the following Projects:
LOT I- Furnishing of the Conference room
LOT II- Purchase of Surveying Equipment
LOT III- Construction of Administration Block
LOT IV- Construction of Lecture Theatre
LOT V- Rehabilitation of Corpers’ Lodge
LOT VI- Rehabilitation of one (I) Block of Staff Quarters Flats 10 and 11
LOT VII- Rehabilitation of one (I) Block of Staff Quarters Flats 12 and 13
LOT VIII- Rehabilitation of the School road network
LOT IX- Rehabilitation of SIWES Building
LOT X- Rehabilitation of General Stores Building
LOT XI- Purchase of GIS Software
- Pre-Qualification Requirements
Prospective contractors are required to submit the following documents with bid(s):
(i) Evidence of Registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC);
(ii) Company’s Tax Clearance for the last three years
(iii) Evidence of VAT Registration and past VAT Remittances;
(iv) Evidence of Financial capability and bank support;
(v) Evidence of similar projects executed and previous experiences;
(vi) Submission of PENCOM’s Certificate of Compliance confirming Company’s fulfillment of the obligations to the Employees with respect to Pensions;
(vii) Evidence of Registration with COREN where applicable;
(viii) Evidence of Compliance with the provisions of the Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Act as amended 2011;
(ix) Company profile reflecting staff strengths and equipment holding
(x) Telephone (GSM) number(s) of the Contractors/Company’s representatives
3 Submission of Tender Documents and Public Opening
Interested companies are to submit two (2) copies of pre-qualification documents clearly marked: PROJECT TITLE and LOT NO, address to “The Registrar, Federal School Of Surveying, Oyo and drop same into Tender Box of the School on or before 12.00 noon on Monday, 14th July, 2014. Opening of bids commence immediately. Contractors or their representatives, NGOs and interested members of the public are invited to witness the opening of the bids, please.
NOTE: Please note that all documents submitted by prospective contractors may be forwarded to relevant agencies for verification. Only pre-qualified companies will be invited to tender for the projects accordingly, please. The award of the contract is subject to the release of funds under the 2014 Capital Budget.
