Invitation for Pre-Qualification of Contractors for the 2012 Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND) Special Intervention Projects
1.0 Introduction
The College of Education, Agbor, invites reputable and experienced Contractors to submit pre-qualification documents in respect of the under-listed 2012 TFTFUND
Special intervention Projects.
2.0 Description of Projects

3.0 Pre-Qualification Requirements
Prospective Companies wishing to participate in the execution of the projects are required to submit their pre-qualification documents containing the under-listed
items.
a. Certified true copy of certificates of registration/incorporation with the Corporate Affairs Commission.
b. Certified true copy of Memorandum and Articles of Association of the Company
c. Audited Accounts of the Company for the last three years (2010, 2011 and 2012)
d. Certified true copy of company’s Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three years (2010, 2011 and 2012).
e. Evidence of VAT Registration and remittance.
f. Evidence of current registration with the College
g. Evidence of Financial Capability to execute the project(s)/Referees 4 letters from a reputable bank.
h. Evidence of similar and verifiable projects successfully executed by the company indicating location, letters of award and completion certificates in the last five years.
i. List of major items of equipment possessed by the company where applicable
j. List of managerial, technical and administrative staff of the company including their CV
k. Evidence of registration with PENCOM and remittance of staff pension contributions to the appropriate pension custodian/administrator and
l. Evidence of registration with Industrial Training Fund and remittance of Training contribution compliance with ITF Act, 2011.
4.0 Submission of Pre-Qualification Documents
The completed pre-qualification documents must be submitted in separate and sealed envelopes with the name of the project for which documents are submitted, marked clearly on the envelopes. Pre-qualification documents should be addressed to:

5.0 Important Notice
a. This is not invitation to tender. Full tendering procedure will be applied to pre-qualified contractors only.
b. The college will enter into correspondence with pre-qualified contractors with a view to proceeding to the financial bid stage.
c. This advertisement shall not be construed as a commitment on the part of the College nor shall it entitle contractors to make any claim whatsoever and /or seek any indemnity from the College or TETFUND
d. The College reserves the right to verify claims made by contractors, any misrepresentation discovered will lead to automatic disqualification
e. The pre-qualification application with all the required supporting documents should be bound and forwarded in sealed envelopes. Only one lot should be contained in a sealed envelope.
f. Envelopes containing more than one project will be rejected.
6.0 Closing Date for Submission of Pre-Qualification Documents
Submission of pre-qualification documents will close at 12.30pm, on Wednesday, 2nd October 2013. Pre-qualification documents will be opened on the same day at 1.00pm in the Council Chambers, New Site of the College
Note: Pre-qualified Contractors or their representatives will be invited to witness the opening of the Tenders please.
