Expression of Interest for the Provision of Consultancy Services on Various Engineering Works
1.0 INTRODUCTION
The Nigerian Ports Authority hereby invites interested and competent firms with relevant experience to submit documents for the under listed consultancy services
| LOT1 | Consultancy Services for Construction of Observation Tower for Nigerian Navy at Takwa Bay, Lagos |
| LOT 2 | Consultancy Services for Shore Protection between Berth 12 and Integrated Oil Depot at Tincan Island Port |
| LOT 3 | Consultancy Services for Construction of Ogogoro Jetty for Nigerian Navy at Ogogoro Island, Lagos. |
| LOT4 | Consultancy Services for Erosion Control at Calabar Port. |
Please, Note that Bidders are not allowed to bid for more than Two (2) Lots in this advertisement
2.0 SCOPE OF SERVICES
This will be as contained in the Request for Proposal which will be issued to prequalified Consultants.
3.0 EXPRESSION OF INTEREST REQUIREMENT
Interested companies should submit three (3) HARD copies (one original and two copies) and a SOFT copy of the bound bid documents duly signed, paginated, separated by dividers and arranged in the order outlined hereunder:
Mandatory Requirements (SOFT and HARD COPIES)
- Evidence of Certificate of Incorporation with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
- Evidence of Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years 2011, 2012 & 2013
- Current Pension Clearance Certificate from PENCOM.
- Evidence of Compliance Certificate with Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Act No. 19 of 2011
- Evidence of Company and Personnel registration Certificate with COREN
Other Requirements (SOFT and HARD COPIES)
- Evidence of similar projects executed in the past including letters of awards, completion certificates etc
- Company profile to include names, qualifications and experience of key personnel
- All relevant information concerning contact, telephone, fax and e-mail address of company representative
- For Joint Venture (JV)/Partnership, Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) should be provided.
- Bids must be in English Language and signed by an official authorized to bind the bidder to a contract.
4.0 SUBMISSION OF EXPRESSION OF INTEREST DOCUMENT
The expressions of interest (EOI) documents are to be submitted in triplicate (one original and two duplicate) copies (One (1) soft and three (3) hard copies) for each desired lot, paginated and arranged with dividers as indicated above. The expression of interest documents should be submitted in sealed envelope and addressed to the “SECRETARY TO THE TENDER BOARD, NIGERIAN PORTS AUTHORITY” AND CLEARLY MARKED “EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR THE PROVISION OF CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR (Description of Service and Lot number), P.N. 3882”, and dropped in the designated Tender Box located on the ground floor, room 029, Nigerian Ports Authority Headquarters at 26/28, Marina Lagos not later than 11.00am on Monday 3rd November 2014.
All received bids will be opened immediately at the Conference room, 1 Joseph Street, of Marina, Lagos in the presence of bidders or their representatives. Please ensure that you sign the bid submission register in the office of the General Manager, Procurement as the Authority will not be held liable for misplaced or wrongly submitted bids. Note that this invitation to tender does not place any obligation on the Authority to consider any responding company for;
- Award of Contract
- Acceptance of any tender and wrongly placed tenders would not be entertained.
All costs incurred as a result of this tender invitation and any subsequent requests for information shall be borne by the bidding companies. Late submission will not be entertained and only short-listed companies will be contacted.
