Advertisement for Pre – Qualification of Consultants/Contractors/Suppliers
(1) The Federal University Wukari intends to develop the University Community Hospital with its Approved 2013 TETFUND Special Interventions Fund. The University hereby invites interested and reputable Consultant Contractors/Suppliers to submit Tenders for the purpose of Pre – qualification and Financial Bidding.
(1.1) Description and Scope of Work

The details and scope of works would be provided in form of Specification, Drawings and unprized Bill of Quantities to be received by bidders
(2.0) Pre-Qualification Criteria
Interested Contractors are invited to submit the following documents; viz
(i) Evidence of Incorporation of Company with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
(ii) Company Audited Account for the Last Three (3) years (2011, 2012 & 2013)
(iii) Evidence of Company Tax Clearance Certificate for the Last Three (3) years (2011, 2012 and 2013).
(iv) Evidence of Current Pension Clearance Certificate from PENCOM.
(v) Evidence of Compliance Certificate with the Provision of Section 6 (1) (3) of the Amended Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Act No. (19) of 2011.
(vi) Evidence of Financial capability and banking support.
(vii) Evidence of similar and verifiable projects executed not just awarded within the last three (3) years and knowledge of the Industry.
(viii) Company’s Annual turnover.
(ix) Evidence of VAT Registration Certificate and Remittance including TIN number.
(x) Evidence of Key Staff Registration with Relevant Professional Bodies.
(xi) Comprehensive Company profile and organizational structure.
(xii) Evidence of availability of necessary equipment.
(xiii) Evidence of technical capacity.
(xiv) Evidence of Experience / Technical qualification and experience of key personnel to be deployed on the project.
(xv) Sworn Affidavit attesting to the authenticity of information provided and that such information is true in every respect and that the Company is not in receivership and none of its Directors has ever been convicted of fraudulent activity.
(xvi) Evidence of Payment of Non-refundable Processing and Tender fee of N20.000.00 in bank draft in favour of “Federal University Wukari” to the University.
3.0 Verification of Claims:
Please note that Federal University Wukari reserves the right to verify claims made in the Pre-qualification documents submitted by interested contractors/ Suppliers.
4.0 Submission of Tenders
Financial Bid document containing full specifications, Designs and Drawings, un-priced Bill of Quantities (BOQ) will be available for collection as from Monday, 15th December, 2014. These can be obtained at Procurement Unit of the University at Federal University Wukari upon presentation of evidence of payment of the prescribed fees.
(a) Two copies of all Pre-qualification Tender document to be submitted must be in a sealed envelope and marked at the top-right hand corner of the envelope “Pre-Qualification for (Project Name)”.
(b) One copy of Financial Tender document (Priced Bill of Quantities) to be submitted must be in a sealed envelope and marked at the top-right hand corner of the envelope “Financial Tender For (Project Name)”.
(c) The two envelopes shall then be enclosed in one single outer envelope.
(d) Note that bidders should not Tender for more than Two (2) Lot. All envelopes should be addressed to:

(5.0) The submission of this Tender will close by 12.00 noon, Monday 26th January, 2015 and tenders shall be opened publicly on same date 26th January, 2015 by 1.00P.M at the- Large Lecture hall, University Campus in the presence of all interested bidders or their representatives in attendance.
(6.0) Members of Civil Societies, Relevant Authorities and General Public are also invited to attend the Opening.
(7.0) Only bidders that are pre-qualified will have their Financial Tenders opened.
