Invitation for Prequalification for Tertiary Education Trust Fund Intervention Projects
(1.0) INTRODUCTION
The Tertiary Education Trust Fund has allocated funds to the Delta State Polytechnic Otefe-Oghara, Delta State for Year 2011 Fabrication Intervention. The Polytechnic intends to utilize part of the funds to execute the following projects:
(2.0) SCOPE OF WORK
(1) Construction and Furnishing of Six Classrooms and Office Block Complex
(2) Fabrication of Various Equipment to Executive Power Supply Synchronization Research Project
(3.0) INVITATION OF BIDS
Eligible and competent Contractors are hereby invited to submit Technical and Financial Bids in respect of the projects listed above:
(4.0) TECHNICAL BID REQUIREMENTS
Interested Contractors wishing to carry out the jobs are required to submit the following documents:
(i) Certificate of Incorporation/Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
(ii) Company Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three years (2012, 2013 and 2014).
(iii) Evidence of VAT Registration with TIN No.
(iv) Company Audited Account for the last three years (2012, 2013 and 2014).
(v) Evidence of Financial Capability to Execute the Project from Reputable Bank.
(vi) Comprehensive company profile showing qualifications of the Management and Technical staff including evidences of their experience on the execution of similar jobs.
(vii) Verifiable list of similar projects successfully executed.
(viii) Evidence of Contribution to the Industrial Training Fund (ITF) in accordance with ITF Amendment Act of 2011.
(ix) Evidence of Certification/Exemption from PENC0M in accordance with the Pension Reform Act, 2014.
(x) A sworn affidavit conforming that all information presented are true and correct of the Company and no Officer of the Polytechnic is a Director, shareholder or has any pecuniary interest in the Bidder.
(5.0) SUBMISSION OF DOCUMENTS
All interested Contractors are to submit copies of the above requirements addressed to the Registrar Delta State Polytechnic Otefe-Oghara on or before 12noon on 17th of July, 2015.
The prequalification documents will be opened by 2.00pm on the 17th of July, 2015 at the permanent site.

Kindly note that only successful and prequalified Contractors will be invited for financial tender
