2014 General Procurement Notice for Goods, Works and Services
Introduction
The Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology (NITT), Zaria a Parastatal of the Federal Ministry of Transport, intends to carry out the Procurement of goods, works and services under the 2014 Budget Appropriation.
Interested contractors are advised to be on the look-out for specific Advertisements for minor and major works which will be placed on Notice Boards, the Tenders Journal and the Print Media (News Papers).

Construction /Provision of Electricity (33/11KVA Dedicated Power Line)
Rehabilitation/Repairs of Residential Buildings
Human Capital Development
Consultancy/Design of New Office Blocks for Newly created Departments
Eligibility Criteria
Interacted Vendors/companies are expected to Possess the following basic Requirements:
a) Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) by inclusion of Certificate of Incorporation of Articles and Association.
b) Evidence of valid Tax Clearance Certificate for the past three (3)years.
c) Company Profile detailing Experience/Technical Qualification of key staff and list of relevant equipment that are required.
d) Evidence of Compliance with Pension Act.
e) Technical Capabilities:
-Works Equipment and Qualified staff,
-Consultancy Curriculum Vitae of Qualified staff.
f) Evidence of having executed similar projects.
g) Evidence of Financial Capability/Bank support.
h) Company Audited Accounts for the last three (3) years (2011-2013).
i) Full Accounts Details including Tin Number.
j) Any other relevant documents that could enhance the company’s legibility.
k) Evidence of Registration with relevant professional bodies.
l) Evidence of compliance with ITF Provision

a) This notice is not an invitation to bid.
b) All CAC, VAT, PENCOM and Tax clearance Certificate may be referred to the security agencies, Corporate Affairs Commission, Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), National Pension Commission and other relevant bodies for verification.
c) The institute reserves the right to reject any or all the submissions that do not meet up with the requirements as specified.
