Invitation for Expression of Interest for Consultancy Services: Tetfund 2011/2012/2013 (Merged) Normal Intervention Projects
(A) Introduction
Tai Solarin College of Education, Omu-Ijebu, and Ogun State Government owned Tertiary Institution is desirous of inviting suitably qualified and reputable Project management Consultants with proven competence and experience to render Consultancy services under the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND) 2011/2012/2013 merged Normal Intervention Projects in the following areas:
(i) Architecture
(ii) Quantity Surveying
(iii) Structural Engineering
(iv) mechanical/Electrical Engineering
(B) Projects
(i) Construction and furnishing of the School of Education Complex (LOT 1)
(ii) Construction and furnishing of the School of Languages Complex (LOT 2)
(iii) Construction and furnishing of the School of Vocational and Technical Education Complex. (LOT 3)
(C) Scope of Work
This entails the production of Conception design/Working drawings, Bill of Quantities, Bill of Engineering measurement, Tendering and Post-Contract Supervision of the stated projects.
(D) Pre-Qualification Criteria
- Only Professionals that have proven capability, relevant experience and good track record (with experiences) will he considered for pre-qualification as Consultant(s)
- Evidence of Incorporation or business name registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
- Evidence of Firm’s’ registration with relevant Professional bodies
- Evidence of Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three years.
- Evidence of VAT registration and part remittance
- Evidence of Company’s Audited Accounts for the last three(3) years,
- Evidence of Principal Partner’s registration with relevant Professional regulatory bodies,
- Evidence of registration with Tai Solarin College of Education, Omu-Ijebu, Ogun State.
- List of key personnel stating experience/Technical qualification with copies of Certificates
- Evidence of similar projects executed over the last three (3) years with copies of Letters of Awards.
- Evidence of registration and remittance of PENCOM as it affects the company’s personnel
- Letters of reference from a reputable bank.
(E) Guidelines for Submission
Bound pre-qualification documents in wax-sealed envelope with “Pre-qualification as Consultants (Architect, Quantity Surveyor, Structural Engineer and Mechanical/Electrical Engineer) as the case may be, written on the top left-hand corner of the envelope and should be hand-delivered not later than 29th January, 2013 to:

NOTE:
(i) That this advertisement for invitation for pre-qualification shall not be construed as a commitment on the part of the College, nor shall entitle any Consultant to make any claim whatsoever and/or seek any indemnity from the Tai Solarin College of Education, Omu-Ijebu.
(ii) That due diligence would be followed with proper verification, of the submitted documents and any discrepancies would reader such document invalid, which will disqualify the applicant.
(iii) That any application submitted after the deadline will not be attended to.
(iv) That the College reserves the right to stop or terminate the process of selection without prior notice to the prospective Consultants.
