Pre-Qualification of Contractors and Call to Tender for Procurement Projects
- Preamble:
Abia State University desires to procure some scientific equipment for use in the departments of pathology/ pharmacology, Biochemistry, Microbiology and Optometry.
Pre-Qualification Requirements
Interested bidders should meet the following Pre-qualification requirements:
- Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission.
- Tax clearance Certificate of the Firm for the last three years.
iii. Evidence of VAT Registration.
- Evidence of PENCOM registration and remittance.
- Evidence of Registration as a Contractor with Abia State Government.
- Evidence of Registration as a Contractor with Abia State University.
vii. Audited Account for the past three (3) years.
viii. Current evidence of financial capability from the Banker(s).
- Corporate profile of the firm, showing technical competence of personnel.
- Evidence of performance on similar projects and contract award letters.
- Registration with Industrial Training Fund.

- Collection And Submission Of Bids Documents
Interested Bidders are requested to obtain the bid documents from the Director of Physical Planning, office of the Vice-Chancellor, on the payment of a non-refundable Bid/Tender fees as specified on the table above.
Completed tender documents should be submitted to the office of the Registrar/Secretary to Council Tenders Board in two sealed envelopes (one for the Pre-qualification and one for the bid) not later than Friday October 17th 2014.
