Invitation to Pre-Qualification and Tender
Introduction:
The Rivers State House of Assembly, pursuant to her ingrained policy of providing equal opportunities to all interested members of the public in all procurement transactions, hereby invites reputable contractors to tender for the underlisted services:
(i) Supply of diesel at the Assembly Complex
(ii) Maintenance of the Assembly Complex
(iii) Servicing of electrical items at the Speaker’s Guest House
(iv) Supply of diesel and maintenance of generator at the Speaker’s Guest House
(v) Feeding of Honorable Members and Staff (Canteen Services)
(vi) Supply of diesel at the Legislators’ Quarters
(vii) Cleaning of RVHA Office Complex
(viii) Maintenance of the Assembly Website
(ix) Cleaning of Dome at the Assembly Office Complex
(x) Maintenance of the Speaker’s Official Residence
(xi) Maintenance of Industrial Air-conditioners in the Chambers and Auditorium
(xii) Security Consultancy at the Legislators’ Quarters.
(2.0) Pre-Qualification Criteria:
Compulsory and mandatory criteria:
(i) Company profile (inclusive of similar works done with verifiable details)
(ii) Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
(iii) Include CAC registration form CO2 and COT containing list of Directors and Shareholders
(iv) Evidence of Tax Clearance Certificate for the last Three (3) years (2012-2014).
(v) A sworn affidavit that all documents submitted are genuine and verifiable
(vi) A sworn affidavit that none of its Directors has been convicted in any country for any criminal offence, including fraud or financial impropriety.
(vii) A sworn affidavit indicating whether any current officer of the Rivers’ State Government is a former or present director, shareholder or has any pecuniary interest in the company.
(3.0) Collection of Tender Documents:
Tender documents will be available for collection within the hours of 10.00am to 3.00pm, from 7th of July to 14th of August, 2015, with a N50,000.00 (Fifty Thousand Naira) tender processing fee payable by bank draft /certified cheque or teller to the Rivers State House of Assembly, Skye Bank Plc, Agip Road Branch, Port Harcourt, (Account No. 1770401432, Sort Code-076211399).
(6.0) Submission of Tender:
All submissions for Prequalification and Tender should be in a sealed envelope and identified with the name at the top hand corner and marked “Pre-qualification and Tender for (name of item) and delivered by hand or courier service to reach the address stated below not later than the date below:

(7.0) Closing Date:
Completed Tender Documents should be submitted to the above address on or before 14th of August, 2015.
(8.0) Opening of Bids:
All bids will be opened on 17th August, 2015, at Committee Room 3, Ground Floor, Assembly Office Complex.
Note:
(1) Only successful tenders shall be contacted.
(2) The Rivers State House of Assembly is not bound to accept the lowest tender.
(3) Tenders submitted after the closing date and time will not be accepted.
