Re: Invitation to Prequalification for Needs Assessment Special Presidential Intervention (Phase II) Projects in Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria
Reference to our earlier advert on the above subject matter in the Federal Tenders Journal of Monday October 20- Sunday November 2, 2014, Daily Trust and Leadership Newspapers of 17th October 2014, and 16th October 2014 respectively, the management of Ahmadu Bello University wishes to notify interested contractors that items a, i and j of the prequalification criteria are adjusted as follows
(a) Evidence of Compliance Certificate of Incorporation with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
(b) Current Pension Clearance Certificate from PENCOM
(c) Evidence of Compliance Certificate with Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Act No. 19 of 2011
Item (k) of the prequalification criteria which is Evidence of community social responsibility (if any) is now expunged.
In view of the above, submission of Prequalification document is now extended to not later than 12 noon 4th December, 2014 at the Registrar’s office, 7th floor Senate Building.
Interested contractors who had earlier submitted and may wish to re- submit can do so. However, already submitted documents still stands valid.
Opening of Documents
Submitted documents will be opened on Thursday, 4th December, 2014 at 1:30pm at the ABU Samaru Zaria Assembly Hall near the convocation Square. The general public is hereby invited especially intending contractors,
PLEASE NOTE
(a) Submission of pre-qualification documents to ABU ZARIA is neither a commitment nor an obligation to award contract to any Contactor/Supplier or his agent.
(b) Advertisement for Pre-qualification should not be construed as a commitment on the part of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria or shall it entitle any Contractor/Supplier to make any claims whatsoever or seek any indemnity from ABU Zaria.
(c) Due diligence would be followed as all documents submitted would be verified. Past executed works, contractors’ offices, Plants and Equipment may be visited for verification. Any discrepancies found would summarily disqualify the Contractor Original documents should be available for sighting on demand during or after the opening of prequalification documents.
