Invitation for the Pre-qualification of Contractors for 2013/2014 Merged Tetfund Normal Intervention Projects
In compliance with the Public Procurement Act 2007, the Federal Polytechnic Offa invites interested, reputable and established competent Contractors to submit pre-qualification documents to express interest for the under listed project:
(A) The Project
LOT A: Proposed Department of Mass Communication
LOT B: Proposed Department of Building Technology
(B) The Contractors
The Contractor must be able to execute the projects to given specifications and within completion period.
(C) Pre-Qualification Requirements
Interested and competent Contractors wishing to be pre-qualified for contracts must submit the following:
(a) Evidence of Company Registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission;
(b) Evidence of Compliance with the provisions of the Pensions Reform Act 2004;
(c) Company Audited Account for the last three (3) years;
(d) Comprehensive Company Profile including names and resume of key staff with genuine reachable addresses and phone numbers (enclose photocopies of credentials);
(e) Evidence of technological capability, equipment and experience in similar projects/activities as well as experiences/technical qualification of key personnel;
(f) Evidence of tax clearance for the last three (3) years;
(g) Evidence of VAT registration and past remittances;
(h) Evidence of compliance with the provisions of section 6 (1), (3) of the amended Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Act No 19 of 2011;
(i) Evidence of possession of TIN (Tax Identification Number; and)
(j) Evidence of financial capacity with bank references; and
(k) Evidence of Community Social Responsibility if any.
Original documents should be available for sighting on demand during or after the opening of pre-qualification documents.
(D) Submission of Completed Pre-Qualification Document
The completed pre-qualification documents must be in sealed envelopes. The type of contract must be written on the top left corner of the envelope; e.g. “Contract: LOT A – Proposed Department of Mass Communication”.

The submission of pre-qualification documents must not be later than 11.00am on Monday, April 20, 2015. The Bid Opening shall take place by 12 noon on the same Monday, April 20, 2015 at the Polytechnic Main Campus Boardroom.
Submission of Pre-qualification documents to Federal Polytechnic Offa is neither a commitment nor an obligation to selection as Contractors or his agent.
