Invitation for Submission of Proposals/Bids for Supply of Furniture to Multipurpose Hall
1. Preamble
The University of Ilorin has just completed the construction of a 2000 capacity multipurpose hall. Tables and chairs are required for the hall.
2. Description of Scope of Work
The project involves the supply of 2000 No. decent stackable chairs and 150 No. collapsible plastic tables. Each table is to seat at least 10 guests.
Intending suppliers would be required to provide sample each of their products on the date indicated below.
3. Requirements
Interested contractors are required to submit the following along with their quotations:-
(i) Company’s Tax Clearance for the last three (3) years
(ii) Evidence of Company Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission
(iii) Verifiable list of similar and other jobs successfully executed with their locations, together with letters of Awards and Certificates of Job Completion
(iv) Verifiable list of plants/machinery with address of the location of the Factory
(v) List of key staff who will execute the project with their Curricular Vitae and relevant positions.
(vi) Company’s financial details and audited accounts for the last three years. (vii) Value Added Tax Certificate (VAT Certificate).
(viii) Evidence of remittance of pension contribution of employees to PENCOM in line with section 16, subsection 8 (iv) of the Procurement
(ix) Evidence of compliance with the provisions of the Industrial Training Fund Amendment Act 2011 in respect of contribution to the fund where applicable.
(x) An affidavit disclosing whether or not any officer of the relevant committees of the University of Ilorin or the Bureau of Public Procurement is a former or present director, shareholder or has any pecuniary interest in the bidding company, and confirming that all the information it presented in its bid are true and correct in all particulars.
(xi) Evidence of financial capability and banking support.
(xii) Sworn Affidavit in respect of non-affiliation to any staff of the University and that no director of the company is bankrupt.
4. Submission of Bids and Samples
The Commercial bids should be submitted on or before 12 noon on Monday 7th July, 2014. Samples should be brought for inspection on the closing date, that is, at 12 noon on Monday 7th July, 2014 Samples will be produced at the expense of the bidders.
Only Contractors with acceptable samples would be invited for opening of their bids.
Please note that the University of Ilorin is not obliged to accept any bid.
