Invitation for Pre-Qualification of Contractors

1.0     Introduction

In compliance with Federal Government 2007 Public Procurement Act, the Federal Ministry of Education Through Federal Government Girls’ College, Kazaure, Invites reputable and experience Contractors for pre qualification in respect of its approved projects under the 2014 Appropriation:-

2.0     Areas for Pre-Qualification

Interested Contractors are expected to indicate their interest in any of the following areas

Capital Projects:

Lot 1:          Renovation/Furnishing of Admin Block

Lot 2:          Renovation of 2Nos. Hostel (Kazaure and Kuti Hostels)

Lot 3:          Renovation of Science Laboratory

Lot 4:          M,D,G’s Projects:

Lot 4(a)       V.I.P Toilets and Bathrooms (Hostels and Classroom Areas).

Lot 4(b)      Provision of Modern Kitchen and renovation/Expansion of Dining Hall

Lot 4(c)       Borehole and Reticulation of Water

3.0     Pre-Qualification Requirements:-

1. Certificate of Incorporation.
2. Tax Clearance Certificate and VAT Registration with TIN for 3 years.
3. Evidence of similar Contract executed.
4. Bank Guarantee
5. Company Profile
6. Registration with the College
7. Registration with the PENCON
8. Evidence of Compliance with Industry Training Fund (ITF) Guideline.
9. Copy of the audited account for the past three years.

4.0     Submission of Pre-Qualification Documents

Pre-Qualification documents shall be submitted in sealed envelope, addressed to the Principal, Federal Government Girls’ College, Kazaure, Jigawa State on or before 12.00noon 27^th August, 2014.

5.0     Opening of Pre-Qualification Documents

Pre-Qualification documents shall be publicly opened immediately after the close of pre-qualification document on 27^th August 2014. Representatives of respondent companies are by this Advertisement, invited to witness the Bid opening process.

6.0     Note:

1. Late submission will be rejected
2. Pre-Qualification application should be very clear about the area of competence and interest
3. This invitation for Pre-Qualification shall not be construed to be commitment on the part of the College for contract award nor shall it entitle the Tenderer to make any claims whatever and seek indemnity from the College by virtue of having responded to this advertisement.
