Invitation for Pre-qualification and Tender for Execution of Capital Projects
Introduction:
The Ministry of Defence through the Armed Forces Command and Staff College wishes to advertise the invitation for prequalification of Contractors/Companies to bid for the execution 2014 Capital Projects.
List of Projects:
a. LOT 1: Renovation of Junior NCO’S Quarters.
b. LOT 2: Equipping of One Block of 5 No Science Laboratories for AFCSC Secondary School.
c. LOT 3: Equipping of Works Production Centre.
d. LOT 4: Renovation of Works Production Centre.
e. LOT 5: Renovation of AFCSC HQ.
f. LOT 6: Furnishing and Equipping of Syndicate Rooms.
g. LOT 7: Furnishing of AFCSC HQ.
h. LOT 8: Renovation of Senior Course Hostel.
i. LOT 9: Renovation and Furnishing of Captain Quarters.
j. LOT 10: Computerization, Networking and Broad Band Internet Access.
k. LOT 11: Renovation and Upgrading of Sports Centre Facilities.
Pre-Qualification Criteria
Interested companies should submit the following documents/information for assessment/consideration.
- Certification of Incorporation by CAC.
- Company profile and organizational structure.
- Evidence of tax clearance certificate in the last three year.
- Evidence of VAT registration certificate and remittance in the last three years.
- 3 Years Audited Account.
- Letter of financial capability from a Nigerian Bank.
- Evidence of experience in similar projects previously undertaken.
- Evidence of professional qualification of key staff.
- Evidence of registration as a contractor with the College.
Submission of Pre-qualification Documents:
The pre-qualification document must be neatly binded and sealed in an envelope and returned not later than 12:00noon on 2nd June 2014 to:

General/Special Information:
- Names of successful/pre-qualified contractors will be displayed on AFCSC HQ Notice Board on 6th June 2014 by 2:00pm.
- Pre-qualification contractors should note that they will be required to pay a non-refundable fee of Ten Thousand Naira (N100, 000.00) as processing fee for each Lot collected.
- This advertisement of “Invitation to Tender” shall not be construed as a commitment on the part of the Ministry, nor shall it entitle prospective companies to make any claims whatsoever and/or seek any indemnity from the Ministry.
- The College shall consider all applications.
- Late submissions will not be considered under any circumstance.
- Contractors may be required to show original of all documents submitted.
