General Procurement Notice For 2015 Capital and Recurrent Projects
1.0 Introduction
The Federal Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development were appropriated funds in the 2015 Capital and Recurrent Budget for the execution of its projects.
2.0 Accordingly, in compliance with the Public Procurement Act 2007, the Ministry hereby notifies all interested and qualified Contractors and Consultants with relevant experience for consideration for the execution of the following under listed projects.

1 | Procurement and Distribution of Aids Appliances and Material Relief to Old People’s Homes and Daycare Centres for Elderly in 36 States of the Federation and FCT |
2 | Procurement of Aids Appliances and Material Relief for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs). |
3 | Supply of Office Equipment. |
4 | Supply or Office station cries / Computer Consumables. |
5 | Supply of’ Teaching Aids/Instruction Materials (Provision for all
Departments). |
6 | Supply of Office ‘Information Technology (IT) Equipment |
7 | Procurement of Materials for National Re-integration of Ex-Juvenilc offenders. |
8 | Procurement of Social Welfare Support Materials for Families and all Vulnerable Groups. |
9 | Procurement of Stationeries. |
10 | Procurement of Mama Kits and Other Advocacy Materials. |
11 | Procurement of Workshop Bags and Other Gifts Materials. |
12 | Renovation work at Braille Press Library. Lagos and Braille Press, Kaduna. |
13 | Printing of Security and Non-Security Documents. |
14 | Upgrade and Standardization of Record Keeping |
15 | Printing of programmes and Banners. |
3.0 Attention of the interested and reputable contractors and service providers are drawn to the followings:
i. The Procurement of the projects listed above will be subjected to Due Process mechanism which would be transparent to all interested and eligible bidders who wish to participate;
ii. Bidders are advised to kindly be on the lookout for specific procurement advertisement within the year when these projects would further be defined by the conclusions of the 2015 Appropriation and Budgetary releases:
iii. Specific projects will be published in the National Dailies, Federal Tenders Journal, the Notice Board of the Ministry as well as the Ministry’s Website (www.fmwa.gov.ng).
4.0 Please note that all documents on the Mandatory Criteria as specified by the PPA, 2007 such as Certificate of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC); Tax Clearance Certificate (TCC): Evidence of compliance with the Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Amendment Act, 2011 by inclusion of Certificate of Compliance from the Industrial Training Fund: Evidence of compliance with Pension Reforms Act, 2004 by inclusion of PENCOM Compliance Clearance Certificate; Evidence of registration of firm on the National Database of Contractors, Consultants and Service Providers in BPP Contractor database; etc may be referred to the Security Agencies, Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Federal Inland Revenue Services (FIRS), National Pension Commission (NPC) and other relevant bodies for verification.
5.0 Conclusion
The Ministry will not be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by any interested party (ies) in connection with any response to this notice and or the preparation or submission;
Bidders should comply fully with the instructions listed in this General Procurement Notice.
The Ministry also reserves the right to invoke the provisions of Section 28 of Public Procurement Act (PPA) 2007 without incurring any liabilities to the bidder.
