Expression of Interest on Consultancy Services for Construction of Nigerian Ports Authority Administrative Building at Abuja
1.0 Introduction
The Nigerian Ports Authority desires to erect an Administrative Building at Abuja. Consequently, Expression of Interest (EoI) for consultancy services in the following areas is hereby invited from competent and reputable firms for the services which are to be offered separately.
1. Architectural Services – Lot 1
2 Quantity Surveying Services – Lot 2
3. Civil/Structural Engineering Services – Lot 3
4. Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Services – Lot4
2.0 Scope of Services
The scope of services required to be done is as detailed in the standard bidding document to be issued to prospective bidders.
3.0 Tender Requirements:
Interested bidders are expected to submit bid in not more than one (1) Lot with copies of the following outlined documents attached in the order stated below, paged and demarcated as such
a. Evidence of Company Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) inclusive of Articles and Memorandum of Association,
b. Evidence of Tax Clearance Certificate for the years 2010, 2011 & 2012.
c. Evidence of VAT registration,
d. Valid Pension Clearance Certificate from National Pension Commission (Where Applicable)
e. Valid compliance certificate with Industrial Training Fund (ITF) (Where
Applicable)
f. Valid Certificate of registration with Financial Reporting Council (FRC) of Nigeria (Where Applicable),
g. Company’s Financial Details & Audited Accounts for the years 2010, 2011 & 2012.
h. Companies Profile, including Names, Qualifications Certificates and
Experiences of key Personnel(s).
i. Verifiable proof of company Technical and Professional ability to undertake the execution of the project,
j. Evidence of similar projects executed in the past, including letters of awards, completion certificates etc.
k. Company and personnel registration with relevant professional bodies.
l. All relevant information concerning contacts addresses, telephones, fax and emails addresses of the company or representative (s).
m. For Joint ventures partnership, memorandum of Understanding (MOU) should be provided.
n. All bids must be in English language, signed by an authorised Official of the bidder.
4.0 Submission of Bids:
Three copies, one original and two duplicates, of Technical and Financial should be submitted in separate envelopes enclosed in a bigger envelope which should be labelled “Expression of Interest for the Consultancy Services for the construction of Nigerian Ports Authority Administrative building at Abuja” specifying the Public Notice number 3843 and the Lot. This should be addressed to the Secretary, Parastatal Tenders Board, Nigerian ports Authority 26/28 Marina, Lagos and dropped in the designated box at the 2nd floor not later than 11.00am on the 2nd December, 2013. All bids will be opened at 12.00pm on the same day (2nd December, 2013 in the conference Room, no 1 Joseph Street, off Marina, Lagos in the presence of all bidders or their representatives in attendance. Bidders are advised to register their bids in the office of the General Manager, Procurement at the ground floor before submission.

- Late submission is not allowed.
- Only prequalified bidders will be contacted.
- Management is not bound to accept any tender.
- All cost incurred as a result of this prequalification tender invitation shall be borne by the bidder.
