Expression of Interest in Consultancy Services
A. Introduction
The Federal Government of Nigeria through Federal Ministry of Youth Development constructing Youth Development Centres in various locations in some selected States of the federation; therefore, services of Consultants in construction industries are required in order to achieve this goal’
B. Request for Expressions of Interest (EOI) are hereby sought from interested consortium firms for post –contract supervision of the contractors work in the following locations across the federation namely:
LOT1.
Consultancy services for supervision of construction of proposed Town Hall in Bakura LGA, Zamfara State.
LOT 2.
Consultancy services for supervision of construction of proposed Town Hall in Maradun LGA, Zamfara State.
LOT 3:
Consultancy services for supervision of construction/acquisition of proposed National Youth Development Centre at Port Harcourt Federal Constituency 1, River State.
LOT 4.
Consultancy services for supervision of construction of proposed National Youth Development Hall at Agwa, Oguta LGA, Imo State.
LOT 5.
Consultancy services for supervision of construction of proposed National Youth Development Centre at Iwollo Ezeagu LGA, Enugu State,
LOT 6.
Consultancy services for supervision of construction of proposed National Youth Development Centre at Dawakin Tofa, Kano State.
LOT 7.
Consultancy services for supervision of construction of proposed National Youth Development Centre at Ojongbodu, Oyo State.
LOT 8.
Consultancy services for supervision of construction of proposed National Youth Development Centre at Surulere 1, Lagos State.
LOT 9.
Consultancy services for supervision of construction of proposed National Youth Development Centre at Ungwar Rimi, Tofa LGA, Kano State.
LOT 10.
Consultancy services for supervision of construction of proposed Demonstration/ Skills Acquisition Centre, Oka- Akoko South West, Ondo North Senatorial District, Ondo State.
LOT 11
Consultancy services for supervision of construction of proposed Demonstration/ Skills Acquisition Centre, Ijon-Ose LGA, Ondo North Senatorial District, Ondo State.
LOT 12.
Consultancy services for supervision of construction of proposed Skills Acquisition Centre, Obot Akara LGA, Akwa-Ibom State.
LOT 13.
Consultancy services for supervision of construction of proposed Skills Acquisition Centre, Ikun Ekiti, Ekiti State.
LOT 14.
Consultancy services for supervision of construction works at National Youth Development Centre at Sokoto LGA, Sokoto State.
LOT 15.
Consultancy services for supervision of construction works at National Youth Development Centre at Agbokim, Cross River State.
LOT 16.
Consultancy services for supervision of construction works at National Youth Development Centre at Otukpo, Benue State.
LOT 17.
Consultancy services for supervision of construction works at National Youth Development Centre at Obi, Benue State.
LOT 18.
Consultancy services for supervision of construction work at National Youth Development Centre at Agatu, Benue State.
C. Eligibility Criteria/Requirement for the Expression of Interest for All Lots
The requirement for the Expression of Interest (EOI) for the prospective consortium firms are as follows:
1. Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission
2. Detailed Profile of the firm, including Curriculum Vitae of professional staff for the project, academic and professional certificate, experience and attestation of availability.
3. Details and proof of similar and verifiable projects) successfully executed by the firm in the past Please attach copies of transaction documents including project completion certificate.
4. Evidence of firms audited account for 2010, 2011 and 2012.
5. Evidence of current tax clearance for the past three years; 2010, 2011 and 2012.
6. Evidence of VAT Registration,
7. Evidence of registration of either the firm or members of the consortium group with the following: NIA, NIQS, COREN (Civil/Structural/Service Engineers).
8. Evidence of compliance with Pension Act 2004.
9. Evidence of compliance with the statutory provision of the ITF Amendment Act 2011 with regards to Section 6(i) (3). (Training Contribution)
10. Proof of continuous professional activity for the last five years as an indication of professional reliability.
D. Method of Application
All interested consultants are Invited to submit Expression of Interest (EOI) in sealed envelope, clearly marked “Expression of Interest in Post Contract Consultancy Services for LOT ……….State submitted to the address below:
The Secretary,
Ministerial Tenders Board,
Federal Ministry of Youth Development;
Room 521, 5th Floor, Block “E”, Federal Secretariat Phase II, Bullet House,
Shehu Shagari Way, Abuja.
Submission should be made on or before 12 noon, 2nd December 2013.
The EOI will be opened on 2nd December, 2013, in the Permanent Secretary’s Conference Room, 2nd floor, Block “D”, at 2.30pm, in the presence of all Bidders or their Representatives.
Note: Only the Consultants who’s EOI are adjudged most successful will be offered the award of the Consultancy at Government approved scale of fees.
