Expression of Interest (EOI) for Provision of Consultancy Services to Design Automotive Training and Production Centre At Topo, Badagary, Lagos
1.0 Introduction
The Industrial Training Fund (ITF) a Parastatal under the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment is desirous to develop Automotive Training and Production Centre, at Topo, Badary, Lagos. To achieve the desire result, the ITF hereby invites eligible firms to submit Expression of Interest (EOI) to provide Consultancy Services in the Following areas:
a) Architectural Design
b) Structural Design
c) Mechanical Installation Design including the Machine Layout
d) Electrical Installation Design
e) Quantity Surveying for the Bill of Quantities
The project is to be funded from its Internally Generated Revenue (IGR).
2.0 Eligibility to Participate
Interested reputable firms are required to submit proposal in English language with the following requirements which shall be used as criteria for Preliminary
Selection:
i) Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
ii) Certified True Copy of Memorandum and Articles of Association.
iii) Tax Clearance Certificates for the immediate past three years (2010 – 2012).
iv) Certificate of Compliance with Pension Reform Act, 2004
v) Evidence of Compliance with the Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Amendment Act, 2011.
vi) Audited accounts in the last three (3) years duly stamped by licensed Auditor.
vii) Corporate Profile of the firms including CV of Key personnel supported by professional licenses, registered address, functional contact email address and GSM phone numbers.
viii) Verifiable documentary evidence of similar and other jobs successfully
executed within the last five (5) years.
3.0 Submission
Applications for EOI accompanied by relevant documents should also be forwarded in sealed envelope marked at the top left corner and boldly written “EOI in respect of Consultancy Services to Design Automotive Training and Production Centre” and addressed to:
The Director-General/Chief Executive
Industrial Training Fund,
Headquarters, Miango Road,
Jos, Plateau State.
The envelopes must be registered in the office of the Director, Procurement Department to obtain acknowledgment receipt and thereafter dropped in the tender box provided for the purpose on or before 12 noon, 18th January, 2014.
4.0 Closing Date and time for Submission of Tender Documents
All EOI documents must be in the tender box on or before 12 noon, 20th January, 2014. Any document received after the date and time specified above stands automatically disqualified.
5 0 Opening of EOI Documents
EOI documents shall be opened immediately after close of Submission on 20th January, 2014 at the ICT Building Hall, ITF Headquarters, Miango Road, Jos. Firms and their representatives, Civil Society Organizations (CSO) are invited to witness the opening process.
Note:
a) This is not an invitation to Tender
b) Submission of EOI document does not commit ITF to awarding contract to a firm.
c) Tendering false document is an offence which will lead to disqualification and prosecution.
