Addendum to Advertisement

The Federal University Wukari wishes to draw the attention of the General Public to advertisement published in the Federal Tenders Journal, page 6 Monday, 24^th March, 2014, Leadership Newspaper, page 28 of Monday, 17^th March, 2014 and The Guardian Newspaper page 72 of Monday, 17^th March, 2014.

The University wishes to inform the General Public that the opening of the bids for all three (3) Projects represented in the three (3) panels/columns of the  advertisement as published in the above mentioned Newspapers has been amended as follows:

Postponement of the Bid Opening

The communal crises in Wukari town and environs have resulted in the imposition of a 24 hour curfew and subsequently have affected activities at the Federal University Wukari. Consequently, the closing date for the submission of the Tenders scheduled for 12.00 noon, 28^th April, 2014 is hereby postponed and is now scheduled for 12 noon, on Monday, 12th May, 2014.

Submission Tender

Bidders who were unable to submit their bidding documents at the University in Wukari can now do so at the University Liaison Office at the “A- Class Park,” Wuse II, Abuja in the Tender’s Box provided for that purpose.

Financial Bid / N50,000.00 Bank Draft

Bidders who are not prequalified will have their financial bids returned to them including the N50, 000.00 Bank Draft. Consequently bidders are advised to properly address their envelopes with their phone number included. The N50,000.00 Bank Draft should be included in the financial bid envelope.

Closing and Opening

The closing date for the submission of the bid documents is now 12.00 noon, Monday, 12^th May, 2014. The submitted Tenders shall be opened publicly on the same day 12^th May, 2014 by 12.00 noon prompt. The Venue for the opening is the University Liaison office at “A- Class Park” Wuse II, Abuja. All bids earlier submitted will be taken to the new venue at the University Liaison office in Abuja.

Please note that non attendance by bidders or their representatives at the opening of the bids shall in no way negatively affect the submission or the outcome of the bid.

Any inconvenience arising from this addendum in respect of the earlier advertisement is hereby regretted, please.
