Request for Bid of NCAT Projects
Preambles:
In compliance with the Public Procurement Act 2007) the management of Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT), Zaria has appropriated funds in its 2014 IGR budget and wishes to apply part of it for the procurement of Works and Goods. The College therefore invites interested competent, reputable and qualified Contractors and Suppliers to tender for the under listed contracts.

Eligibility/Requirements:
All bids must be accompanied with the following:
(1) A copy of certificate of Incorporation/Business Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in Nigeria.
(2) Current Company Tax Clearance Certificate for the last 3 years (2011 – 2013) in case of a Nigerian Company.
(3) Evidence of VAT Registration and VAT remittance in the last three years (2011 – 2013).
(4) Annual Turnover and Audited statement of Accounts of the company for the past three (3) years (2011-2013).
(5) Company profile including, among others, organizational structure and key professional staff, relevant manufacturing capacity; copy of company and equipment brochure should be submitted alongside bids.
(6) List of similar, verifiable and successfully executed projects or ongoing by the company with letters of award and certificates of completion should be attached for projects (where applicable).
(7) Evidence of financial capability to execute the project. Bank reference and a letter of credit for the execution of the contract if eventually won.
(8) Evidence of registration with PENCOM and Remittance of pension fund contribution for staff of the company from reputable pension funds Administration(PFA) as provided in section 16, subsection 6(d) of the Public Procurement Act, 2007.
(9) Evidence of registration with the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP).
(10) Evidence of compliance with the provision of the industrial Training Fund (ITF) amendment act as stipulated in section 6(1)-(3).
(11) Detailed list of equipment owned or on lease hold by the company relevant for smooth execution of the project.
(12) Evidence of ownership and pictures with company logo is an added advantage.
(13) Sworn affidavit affirming that information being provided by bidder is correct.
(14) Original documents should be-available for sighting on demand during or after the opening of bids.
Submission/Closing Date:
Interested Bidders are to obtain bidding documents from the Procurement Unit upon successful payment of the bid price of Fifteen Thousand Naira (N15,000.00) only.
Bids must be submitted in two (2) separate sealed envelopes original and copy marked “Technical and Financial Bid for Lot…” at the left hand corner of each envelope and company names clearly indicated at the back of each envelope. Both envelopes should be sealed and placed in a third envelope marked with the lot number at the top right hand corner. The closing date of submission of bids is on or before 12.00 noon on 19th January, 2015 and addressed to:

The bids opening shall take place immediately the 19th January, 2015 (12.00 noon) at ATS/COM. School Lecture Theatre in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend. All bidders/Representatives, NGO and Professional Bodies are invited to attend the bids opening exercise.
Important Information:
(1) All documents submitted will be subjected to verification from the relevant agencies.
(2) Only technically qualified companies will be allowed to participate in the competitive tender.
(3) Technical Proposals can only be submitted within working hours.
(4) This advertisement shall not be construed as a commitment on the part of the Federal Ministry of Aviation or NCAT nor shall it entitle responding bidders to seek any indemnity from the College by virtue of such bidder having responded to this advertisement.
(5) Late submission will not be entertained.
