Introduction
Further to the advert made by the Board on the 8th of May, 2014 in two (2) National Dailies (Daily Trust and The Guardian), in respect of the above subject matter; we wish to re-invite all those reputable consulting and contracting Companies that have applied for 2014 Capital projects to take note of the slight alterations in the scope of work and eligibility criteria.
2.0: Scope of Work:
LOT1:- Procurement of ICT Equipment at the Headquarters and 27 Technology Incubation Centers.
LOT2:- Purchase of Advanced Industrial Equipment: – Acquisition of Demonstration Equipment for Mass Production and Product Quality Assurance, Spectrometers, Industrial Machines etc
LOT3:- Development of Permanent Site: – Abuja Head Quarters.
L0T4:- Completion of on – going projects at Technology Incubation Centers: – Bauchi, Benin, Calabar, Agege, Sokoto, B/Kebbi, Gusau, Kano, Maiduguri, Minna, Igbotako, Ibadan, Uyo, Warn, Yenagoa, Aba, Nnewi, Okwe, Jos, Yola, Taraba, Abeokuta and Enugu; Provision of Standby generators, Provision of Fire Fighting Equipment, Completion of TIC Temidere, TIC Kaduna, TIC Ilorin, TIC Ile-Ife and TIC Ado-Ekiti.
LOT5:- Completion of on – going projects at Technology Incubation Centers at Owode – Yewa Extension and Odogbolu.
L0T6:- Provision of Quality Control Laboratory and Engineering Workshops in Nine (9) New Technology Incubation Centers: – Lokoja, Makurdi, Nasarrawa, Katsina, Gombe, Damaturu, Katsina and Port Harcourt
L0T7:- Construction of Incubation Units in Technology Incubation Centers: – Lokoja, Makurdi, Nassarawa, Katsina, Gombe, Port – Harcourt, Kaduna, Jalingo, Enugu, Maiduguri, Bauchi, Yola, Kano, Gusau, Sokoto, Akure, B/Kebbi, Igbotako, Nnewi, Aba, Warn’, Benin, Agege, Ibadan, Abeokuta, Okwe and Ilorin.
LOT8:- Design and Construction of New Technology Incubation Centres: – Gombe and Oka Akoko.
L0T9:- Design and Construction of conference/ exhibition Hall in Abeokuta Centre.
LOT10:- Rehabilitation of existing infrastructure at the following Technology Incubation Centers: – Okwe, Ibadan, Bauchi, Benin, B/Kebbi, Kano, Maiduguri, Sokoto, Minna, Gusau, Nnewi, Warri, Yenagoa, Yola, Kaduna, Jos, Agege, Gusau, Ilorin, Ibadan and Aba.
LOT11: Research and Development Commercialization: – Prototype Development of R & D Commercialization such as Agro – Allied fabrications (Post – harvest), Food processing, plants and other Industrial Processing lines.
3.0 Eligibility Criteria:
The following requirements for pre-qualification must be submitted along with company profile:
I. Evidence of CAC/ Company Incorporation in Nigeria.
II. Evidence of last three (3) yean Tax clearance (2011 – 2013) and VAT certificate.
- Tax Identification Number (TIN) certificate.
- Company profile with list of Technical/Management staff. This is to include all Academics and Professional Membership Certificates of Technical Staff (Degree and Diplomas, NSE, COREN, COBON, NIM etc) as evidence of technical capability
V. Evidence of previous work experience, stating detailed clients, nature of work, completion period, works completion certificates, etc
- Evidence of Financial Capability.
- Evidence of compliance with section 6 (1) – (3) of the amended ITF Act, including PENCOM and other regulatory agencies where applicable.
4.0 Submission
All amended pre-qualification documents where applicable must be in sealed envelope marked:
Confidential pre-qualification for NBTI 2014 fiscal year capital projects and the LOT of interest clearly printed at the top left corner of the envelope and submitted on or before Wednesday 25th June, 2014 to:

5.0 Caveat: This notice is applicable to only Contractors / Companies that have submitted Pre – qualification documents before the closure date of the earlier advert. Also note that only pre-qualified companies shall be invited in writing or through publication.
