Invitation to Tender for the Execution of 2013 Capital Projects
Federal Government College, Enugu 27 September, 2013 hereby invites suitably qualified reputable companies/contractors to tender for the under listed 2013 Capital Projects.
1. Projects
Lot 1 Purchase of Mercedes Benz Water Tanker (1720) 12000 litres
Lot 2 Construction of 1 No Girls’ Hostel
Lot 3 Rehabilitation and Renovation of woodworks and metal works workshop.
Lot 4 Rehabilitation and Renovation of 1 No. Administrative Block.
2. Requirements
In compliance with the procurement Act 2007, prospective bidders
must submit, along with their Tenders the following documents:
i) Company profile and technical qualifications of key personnel with experience of similar jobs.
ii) Certificate of incorporation/registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
iii) Company audited accounts for the past three years, 2010, 2011 and 2012.
iv) Tax clearance certificates for the past three years: 2010, 2011 and
2012
v) Evidence of VAT Registration Certificate with TIN and evidence of remittance to Federal Inland Revenue Services 2010, 2011 and
vi) Verification list of similar jobs successfully carried out.
vii) Evidence of finical capability to execute the project (bank statement) and bank support.
viii) List of appropriate equipment possessed by the company.
ix) Evidence of certificate of compliance from National Pension Commission indicating the fulfillment of employers obligation to the employees.
x) Evidence of remittance of staff Pension Contribution to the appropriate Pension Custodian/Administrators.
xi) Evidence of contribution to industrial Training Fund (ITF).
xii) A sworn affidavit disclosing whether or not any officer of Federal Ministry of Education (FME) or BPP is a former or present Director, Share-holder or has any pecuniary interest in the bidder and confirm that all information presented in the bid are true and correct in all particulars.
3. Collection of Tender Documents
Interested contractors/companies are to collect the relevant contract documents (Bills of Quantities) at the Principal’s Office on payment of a non-refundable fee of Ten thousand (N10, 000.00) naira only to the Federal Government College, Enugu between the hours of 10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.
4. Submission of Tender
Two (2) copies of Technical and Financial bids should be submitted in two separate envelopes marked Technical and Financial bids respectively. Both should be enclosed in a third envelope with Lot number and project name indicated at the top right corner of the envelope.
All duly completed tender documents should be in sealed envelope and marked with appropriate title and addressed to
The Principal,
Federal Government College,
Enugu.
5. Closing Date
All duly completed tenders should reach the Principal’s Office on or before 25th October 2013. The bids will be publicly opened at 1.pm on the closure of receipt of bids by 12.noon of the expiration date.
