Invitation to Tender

1.     Preamble

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) is desirous of engaging the services of competent companies/contractors for the under-listed projects.

Reputable companies/contractors are hereby invited to tender.

Scope of Works/Lots

3.       Pre-Qualification Requirements

(1) Company profile.

(2) Evidence of tax clearance for the last 3 years.

(3) Certificate of company incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission.

(4) VAT registration certificate.

(5) Evidence of execution and completion of similar projects in the last 3 years.

(6) Company audited accounts.

(7) Availability of verifiable plants and equipment that would be used for the project.

(8) Evidence of registration with relevant professional body.

(9) Letter of reference from Bankers.

(10) Evidence of company’s Staff Pens on scheme.

(11) Evidence of compliance with the ITF Act.

4.   Pre-qualification and Tender Documents

Interested bidders ore requested to submit their prequalification documents and pay a non-refundable processing fee of N10,000.00 (ten thousand naira only) per lot Thereafter they should collect the tender documents from the office of the Deputy Registrar (Head of Works Department), WAEC, 21 Hussey Street Yaba, Lagos between the hours of 10.00 am and 3.00 pm on working days,

The Tender documents should be submitted in a sealed envelope to the office of the Acting Director of finance, WAEC, 21 Hussey Street, Yaba, Lagos not later than 10:00am, on Wednesday, 21^st May, 2014 with reference at the top left hand marked “Tender for…………(for each of the works listed above).

Opening of the documents shall take place fey 12:00 noon on Wednesday, 21^st May, 2014 at Excellence Hotel, Ogba, Ikeja, Lagos.
