Invitation to Tender
The college of Education, Oju invites interested reputable companies with relevant experience and good track records to Tender for the under listed 2013 Tertiary Education Trust Fund project
Scope of Work
Lot 1: Construction/ Furnishing of a 500 capacity auditorium, lecture halls and office complex for the Physical and Health Education Department
Technical Requirements
Interested companies are required to submit the following documents:
i. Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) by inclusion of Certificate of Incorporation und Article of Association
ii. Tax clearance Certificate for the last three(3) consecutive years (2011, 2012, and 2013) Corresponding with declared annual turnover
iii. Evidence of VAT Registration and past remittance
iv. Copy of PENCOM’s Certificate of Compliance
v. Evidence of compliance with statutory provision of Section 8. (1) – (3) of the industrial training Amendment Act, 2011
vi. Audited Accounts of the Company for the last (3) years (2011, 2012 and 2013)
vii Evidence of Financial capability and bunking support
viii. Full company Profile, detailing the Organisation structure and listing Administrative, and technical personnel and COREN Registered Engineers stating their roles, designation, qualification and years of experience and including copies of educational and professional certificates
ix. Verifiable evidence of availability of the appropriate construction equipment and facilities
x. Listing of work experience as the main contractor, submission should include a minimum of (3) similar projects executed within the last (5) years, Letters of award and Completion certificates.
Collection of Bid Documents
Interested firms should collect bid documents from the office of the Registration upon presentation of a non-refundable fee of Twenty Thousand Naira (N20,000 00) in certified Bank draft payable to the College of Education, Oju
Tender Submission
All submission must be spirally bound and duly signed on each page, the technical documents must be arrange in the order indicated in the Technical Requirements above, completed bid documents should be in two separately sealed envelopes labelled “Technical” and “Financial” (2 envelope system), both put in a bigger envelop bearing the name, and address of the company and clearly marked “TENDER FOR CONSTRUCTION /FURNISHING OF 500 CAPACITY AUDITORIUM, LECTURE HALL, AND OFFICE COMPLEX FOR THE PHYSICAL AND HEALTH EDUCATION DEPARTMENT, LOT 1” and addressed to:

Tender Submission will close by 10.00a.m. On Monday, 24th March, 2014. Companies submitting tenders must sign the tender register at the reception desk before dropping the tender into the tender box on the 24th March, 2014 office of the Registrar College of Education, Oju, Benue State
Opening of Tenders
The Tender opening shall take place at The Office of the Registrar, College of Education, Oju, P.M.B. 2035, Otukpo, Benue State. Representatives of bidders companies and members of the public and Civil Rights organisations are invited to witness the Bid opening
