Group a Civil Works
1) Construction of the Multi-Purpose Halls and Offices for the Faculty of agriculture
2) Construction of the Entrepreneurship Centre
3) Construction of the Classrooms and Offices for the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences
4) Construction of the Classrooms and Offices for the Faculty of Agriculture
5) Construction of the Classroom and Offices for the College of Health Sciences
Group B Electrical Engineering Works
1) Electrical Installation Works in the Multipurpose Halls and Offices for the Faculty of Agriculture
2) Electrical Installation Works in the Entrepreneurship Centre
3) Electrical Installation Works in the Classroom and Offices for the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences
4) Electrical Installation Works in the Classrooms and Offices for the Faculty of Agriculture
5) Electrical Installation Works in the Classrooms and Offices for College of Health Sciences
Group C Mechanical Engineering Works
1) Mechanical and Plumbing Installation in the Multi-Purpose Halls and Offices for the Faculty of Agriculture.

Group D Supply
(1) Supply and Installation of Laboratory Furniture and Fittings for Tetfund sponsored Laboratory type B for College of Health Sciences.
Group E
1) Supply, Fabrication and Installation of Aluminium Doors and Windows in the Faculty Building for Physical Sciences and Biosciences
Tender requirements
Qualified and interested bidders are required to submit the following documents/evidence for Pre-qualification and tender for the projects,
a) Evidence of payment of Education Tax (for Limited Liability Companies only)
b) Evidence of payment of non refundable deposit of N20,000.00 (Twenty Thousand Naira only) for Group A and N7,500.00 for others.
c) Certificate of registration/incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission.
d) Current three years tax clearance certificate
e) VAT registration certificate
f) List of plant and equipment owned by the company and verifiable addresses of their locations
g) Details of verifiable experience of similar projects/evidence of timeous completion of projects of similar nature and magnitude,
h) Resume of key professional staff to be involved in the work and evidence of registration with the relevant professional bodies,
i) Current financial status of the company,
j) Evidence of remittance of pension contribution fund for staff of the company from reputable Pension Funds Administrators (PFA) as provided in section 16 sub section 6(d) of the Public Procurement Act 2007.
k) Evidence of compliance with the statutory provisions of section 6(1 )-(3) of the Industrial Training Fund Amendment Act.
Collection of Tender Documents for the Projects
Interested bidders shall on presentation of evidence of payment collect the tender document(s) from the office of the Director of Physical Planning between the hours of 10.00am and 3.00pm daily with effect from 24th March, 2014 till the closing date on 5th May, 2014.
Submission of Tender Documents for the Projects.
Technical and Financial bids shall be submitted in two different wax-sealed envelopes and labelled “Technical Bid” and “Financial bid” respectively with the Company’s name indicated at the back of each envelope. Both envelopes should be wax-sealed and placed in a third envelope also wax-sealed and marked with the relevant project name at the Top right hand corner and addressed to: The Registrar Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka not later than 12.00 noon on 5th May, 2014
Opening of Tender Documents for the Projects
Bidders should note that all Bids received shall be opened in the Council Chambers of the University by 1.00pm on 5th May, 2014
Note:
Please note that only contractors who have executed single similar projects of value above N100.0million Naira for Group A, N50.0mlllion for Group E, N25million for Group D and N10.0mllllon for others can apply.
