Invitation for Pre-Qualification and Tender for the Year 2013 Tetfund Special Intervention Project
1.0 Introduction
The Kogi State College of Education, Ankpa, intends to undertake pre-qualification and tender exercises for the Year 2013 Special Intervention Projects at the College for the following projects:
Lot 1: Construction of Introductory Technology Workshop;
Lot 2: Equipping of the Introductory Technology Workshop; and
Lot 3: Construction of Information and Communications Technology Center.
2.0 Pre-Qualification Criteria
Interested Contractors/Suppliers are invited to submit the following prequalification documents with verifiable evidence including, but not limited to the following:
(i) Evidence of incorporation of company by Corporate Affairs Commission;
(ii) Evidence of the Tax Clearance Certificate for the past three years;
(iii) Company’s Audited Account for the past three years;
(iv) Evidence of VAT registration;
(v) Company profile and organizational structure with list and resumes of technical staff;
(vi) Evidence of compliance with Pension Reform Act;
(vii) Evidence of compliance with ITF Amendment Act 2011;
(viii) List of similar jobs executed with evidence of names of Clients and Letters of Award;
(ix) Evidence of financial capability and banking support; and
(x) Any other document that will enhance the potential of the company.
3.0 Verification of Claims
Please note that the Kogi State College of Education, Ankpa, reserves the right to verify claims made in the Pre-qualification documents submitted by interested contractors / Suppliers.
4.0 Submission of Pre-Qualification and Tender Documents
Two copies of all Pre-qualification documents to be submitted must be in a sealed envelope and marked at the top-right hand corner of the envelope “Pre-Qualification for (Project Name)”: addressed to:

Kogi State College of Education
P.M.B 1033, Ankpa
Kogi State, Nigeria.
These documents should be dropped in the Tender Box situated in the Registrar’s Office not later than 12 noon, Friday, 16th of January 2015.
Tender documents can be collected from the Director of Works’ office upon payment of N150,000 (One hundred and fifty Thousand Naira) tender’s fee.
5.0 Opening of Tender Documents
The pre-qualification and tender documents will be opened same day on Friday, 16th January, 2015 at 12:00 noon in the College Council Chambers, at the expiration of the time allowed for submission of documents All the Tenderers and the general public are invited to witness the opening of the pre-qualification and tender exercise, in line with Due Process requirements.
6.0 Tenderers that are interested in more than one project must apply separately for each LOT of the projects.
7.0 The College shall not enter into correspondence with any unsuccessful bidder.
