Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma hereby invites reputable and competent Contractors/Suppliers to submit their Pre-qualification bids for the following NEEDS ASSESSMENT projects (Phase I)

2.0; Eligibility Requirement:
Interested Contractors are expected to show evidence of the following to be eligible for pre-qualification evaluation.
(a) Certificate of Incorporation with the Corporate Affairs Commission,
(b) Certificate of Registration with Federal or Edo State Ministry of Works for LOT 1 19, 20 and 22.
(c) Certificate of registration in the right category and annual renewal for the year 2015 with Ambrose Alli University as follows:
(i) Category C and above LOT 3, 12,15,16,18 and 21
(ii) Category D and above LOT 2. 4, 5, 6, 7. 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, 17, 19, 20, 22 and 23.
(iii) Category E and above LOT 1.
(d) Current Tax clearance and evidence of payment for the immediate past Three years; i.e. 2012, 2013 and 2014.
(e) VAT registration and evidence of VAT remittance.
(f) Tax Identification No. (TIN)
(g) Evidence of registration with PENCOM and remittance.
(h) Evidence of registration with Industrial Training Fund and remittance of Training contribution compliance with ITF Act 2011.
3.0 Evaluation Criteria:
The Criteria for evaluation shall in addition to 2 a-h, include evidence of the following:
(a) Evidence of financial capability and support letter(s) from reputable banks.
(b) Company’s audited account for the past Three years, 2012, 2013 and
2014.
(c) Detailed Company profile, organogram with evidence of key Technical and Administrative Staff that will be involved in the project(s)
(d) Evidence of verifiable list of similar jobs or supplies successfully executed by the Contractor in the last Three years, preferably with Government organisation or Corporate bodies, with location, letters of award, cost of project, completion certificates and photographs of the execution of the projects.
(e) Verification list of Equipment/Machinery with years of manufacture and location of the Equipment to be used for the project stating whether the Equipment are on lease, hired or owned by the Company.
(4.0) Pre-Qualification Fees
Interested Contractors are required to pay a non-refundable fee for the pre-qualification exercises in Bank draft payable to Ambrose Alli University, submit same to the Bursary and obtain official receipt in same value as follows:
(a) LOTS 2, ,6, 7, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17,18. 19, AND 22 ———N10.000.00
(b) LOTS 8, 10,11, 21 AND 23 ——–N15,000.00
(c) LOTS 1.4, 5, 9, and 20———N25,000.00
5.0. Submission of Pre-Qualification Bids:
Pre-qualification documents as listed in (2) and (3) above should be neatly bound and returned along with the original receipt for the payment of the non-refundable pre-qualification fee in Wax Sealed Envelope and Marked Pre-Qualification for Lot (With the Project Title and Lot Number) Written at The Right Hand Corner and Submitted TO:

P.M.B. 14, Ekpoma
To reach him not later than 4.00 pm, Monday, 8th June, 2015.
6.0. Opening
(a) All received Pre-qualification Bids shall be opened on the 9th June, 2015 at the University of Senate Chamber by 10.00am. All Bidders, Civil Society groups and interested members of the public are invited to witness the opening ceremony as scheduled above.
Important Notice;
(a) Contractors who have worked for the University and have history of poor performance, abandonment, termination and/or unapproved prolonged completion period of their contact need not apply.
(b) Only shortlisted Contractors shall be invited to tender for the projects.
(c) This advertisement for invitation to pre-qualification shall not be construed as commitment on the part of Ambrose Alli University to award any form of contract to your Company.
All qualified Contractors/Suppliers are to note the above for their further necessary action.
