Invitation for Tender for 3rd and 4th Quarters, 2012 UBE Intervention Projects
The Kwara State Universal Basic Education Board (KWASUBEB) has received the matching grants from both the Kwara state government and the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) Abuja, for the 3rd and 4th quarters 2012 FGN/State UBE intervention projects.
In line with the UBEC approved work plan, the KWSUBEB intends to utilize the fund for Infrastructural Development of ECCDE Centers, Primary and Junior Secondary Schools across the 16 local government areas of the state as well as provision of ICT/EMIS equipment at SUBEB Headquarters.
The Board therefore invites interested but reputable contractors to tender for the under listed Projects:
LOT1: Construction of a Block of two (2) class rooms with office:
Type A – 21 Nos (with metal doors and windows)
Type B – l0Nos (without metal doors and windows).
LOT2: Construction of 4 Blocks of four (4) class rooms spread across the three (3) Senatorial Districts
LOT3: Rehabilitation of one Hundred and Ten (110) No’s class rooms across the sixteen (16) LGAs in the state.
LOT4: Rehabilitation of four (4) Blocks of seven (7) class rooms in Queen Elizabeth School, Ilorin.
LOT5: Construction of 35 No’s V.I.P. Toilets and Deep Well.
LOT6: Fabrication and Distribution of furniture:
TYPE A – ECCDE/PRIMARY.
TYPE B – J.S.S.
LOT7: Provision of ICT/EMIS Equipment for KWSUBEB Head Quarters.
LOT8: Fabrication of specially made metal Windows and Doors for class rooms.
Requirements:
Bidders are to submit along with their bids the following documents:
(i) Certificate of Registration of company/incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission in appropriate category.
(ii) Evidence of Registration with the Kwara state Ministry of Works.
(iii) Three (3) years current tax clearance certificate and company Tax Identification Number (TIN).
(iv) Evidence of Registration/Renewal with the KWSUBEB.
(v) Company profile showing evidence of previous Works/projects executed.
(vi) Evidence of payment of non-refundable Tender Fee of Twenty Thousand Naira (N20, 000.00) only.

Bids are to be submitted in sealed enveloped marked: “TENDER FOR 3RD AND 4TH QUARTERS 2012 UBE PROJECTS” to the office of the Tenders Secretary, KWSUBEB, Ilorin On or before 19th February, 2014
