Invitation for Pre-Qualification to Tender for the Completion of Student Hostel, Construction of Student Centre, Supply and Installation of Library Equipment and Books, Supply and Installation of ICT Equipment in the Cross River State College of Education/ Akamkpa.
(1) Applications are hereby invited from reputable and interested contractors with relevant experience, good track record and financial capacity for prequalification to tender for the completion of Student Hostel, construction of Student Centre, supply and installation of Library Equipment and Books and Supply and installation of ICT Equipment in the Cross River State College of Education, Akamkpa.
(2) Scope of Work
- Completion of Student Hostel, Construction of Student Canteen.
- Supply and Installation of Library equipment and Books (Year 2011/2012 merged TETFUND Intervention).
- Supply and Installation of ICT Equipment (year 2013 TETFUND Special Intervention).
(3) Prequalification Requirement
(i) Only contractors that have proven publishing and financial capabilities, relevant experience and good track record will be considered for pre-qualification to tender.
(ii) Verifiable list of previous works successfully carried out within the last three Years with names of clients, evidence of award and practical completion certificates.
(iii) Company profile and organizational structure, including names and telephone numbers of key personnel.
(iv) Evidence of incorporation of Company by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
(v) Company tax clearance certificate for the last three (3) Years.
(vi) Equipment and technical capacity.
(vii) VAT Registration and evidence of past VAT remittances.
(viii) Experience and technical qualification of key personnel
(ix) Audited Annual Financial Report of the Company for the last three (3) Years.
(x) Evidence of registration as contractor with the Cross River State Due process and price intelligence Department
(xi) Evidence from Company’s Bankers as to its financial strength, worthiness and solvency.
(xii) A sworn affidavit indicating that all documents submitted are genuine and available

Bound Pre-Qualification Documents in well-sealed envelop with “Pre-Qualification to tender for the Completion of Student Hostel; Student Centre/ Library Equipment and Books” writing at the top left hand corner, should be hand delivered on or before 18th December, 2014 and addressed to

Arrangement of documents should follow the list in (3i – xii) above appropriately numbered with a table of content indicating the pages or folios in which those items are to be found.

- Late submission will be rejected.
- All payments in respect to tender documents are not refundable.
- The College is not liable to any contractor who is not pre-qualified or fails to get the award
