Invitation for Pre-Qualification to Tender
1. Federal University, Kashere, Gombe State hereby invites suitably qualified and interested contractors for pre-qualification to tender for the University’s TETFUND 2011 Special Intervention Projects (SIP) in line with the Public Procurement Act, 2007.
2. Scope of Work: (Proposed Construction of University Farm, Proposed Purchase of Animals Feeds and Drugs, Proposed Construction of Herbarium and Proposed Procurement of Geography Equipment)
(a) Lot 1: Proposed Construction of Poultry House, /Goat House and Cattle House.
(b) Lot 2: Proposed Purchase of Animals, Feeds and Drugs.
(c) Lot 3: Proposed Construction of Herbarium.
(d) Lot 4: Proposed Procurement of Geography Equipment.
3. Pre-Qualification Documents:
All interested and qualified contractors should submit the following documents/information for assessment and consideration:
i. Evidence of registration of company with the Corporate Affairs Commission (Only Limited Liability Company).
ii. Evidence of registration with PENCOM
iii. Evidence of registration with FIRS for VAT collection and TIN
iv. Evidence of similar job(s) executed in the last three (3) years
v. Evidence of financial capability and possible bank support
vi. Recent Three (3) Years Tax clearance Certificates
vii. Evidence of compliance with the Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Act 2011 (Amended)
4. Submission of Pre-Qualification Documents:
Bound Pre-qualification documents should be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “Pre-qualification document for……….” addressed to the Head of the Procurement Unit, Federal University, Kashere, Gombe State.
5. Opening of Pre-Qualification Documents:
Pre-qualification envelopes will be opened on 30th April, 2014 at 12 noon at the University Conference Room. All bidders or their representatives and NGOs are invited to witness the opening exercise.
6. Collection of Tender Document
Only pre-qualified contractors/Suppliers shall be invited to send in their financial bids upon payment of non-refundable tender and processing fee of Twenty Thousand Naira (N20,000.00) only.

a. This Advertisement should not be considered as a contract award or any commitment on the part of the University.
b. The University is not bound to consider a specific tender and shall not engage in any unnecessary correspondence on the matter.
c. Failure to comply with any of the instructions above or provide any of the listed documents may automatically result in disqualification.
