Invitation for Pre-qualification & Tender for Contractors under Tetfund year 2013 Special Intervention Projects
1. Preamble
The Delta State Polytechnic, Ogweshi-uku is to implement some projects to be financed with fund from the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund), Consequently, Interested contractors with experience and other relevant fields are hereby invited to submit their company profiles for consideration.
2.0 Scope of work/non-refundable pre-qualification/tender fees of N30,000. for construction and N15,000 for procurement and work consist of the following;
(Lot l) Construction and furnishing of 500 seater capacity Lecture Theatre Hall.
(Lot 2) Construction and furnishing of 400 seater capacity Multi-Purpose Hall and Seminar Rooms.
(Lot 3) Procurement of 2nos. Toyota Coaster Buses.
(Lot 4) Procurement of 1no. Mercedes Benz Water Tanker.
3.0 Pre-qualification Requirement
(A and B should) be produced for sighting during opening)
a) Company registration with Corporate Affairs Commission
b) Company Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years
c) Evidence of Registration with PENCOM
d) Evidence of Registration with ITF
e) Company profile
f) Evidence of registration with the Delta State Polytechnic
g) Evidence of Similar jobs executed
h) Bank reference.
i) (2010, 2011 and 2012) audited accounts of the company.
4.0 Tender Documents
Tender documents are obtainable between 10.00am and 3.00pm each day from the office of; The Rector, Delta State Polytechnic, Ugwashi – Uku, Delta State.
Not Later than 31st January, 2014
5.0 Submission of Pre-Qualification/Tender Documents
Completed documents, which must be sealed and marked with the title of the project on the TOP LEFT-HAND CORNER OF THE ENVELOP should be dropped in a pre-qualification/tender box in the office not later than 31st January, 2014.
6.0 Opening Of Pre-Qualification/Tender Documents
Opening of the documents shall take place on the closing date of the submission The venue will be in the Polytechnic Board Room.
7.0 Opening of Pre-Qualification Documents
The Technical and Commercial Bids shall be opened on 31st January, 2014 in the Polytechnic Chambers. All bidders are expected to attend. Interested members of the public and Journalists are invited to witness the opening of the bids.
Please Note:
The tender fee is non-refundable. The Polytechnic is neither committed nor obligated to shortlist any contractor or to award the contract to any contractor or his agent. The Polytechnic reserves the right to reject any bid. The Polytechnic shall only analyise pre-qualification bids. The Polytechnic will not enter into any form of correspondence with bidding contractors.
