Invitation for Pre-Qualification
1. Preamble
In compliance with public procurement Act. 2007 of Due Process and Project Monitoring Bureau, Dutse the Jigawa State Ministry of Commerce, Industry, Cooperatives & Tourism wishes to notify the public of its intention to pre-qualify reputable, competent and experienced contractors who may wish to tender for the construction of reinforced concrete drainages and culverts at Hadejia old/ new markets. The pre-qualification is for the year 2014 project.
2. Project Scope;
Construction of reinforced concrete road side drainages and culverts at Hadejia old/new markets.
3. Requirements
Prospective contractors should possess the following documents:
- Certificate of Incorporation/Business name registration
- Certified true copy of memorandum and article of association
- Registration with State works registration board in relevant category
- Company audited account for last one year
- Tax clearance for the last three years
- Evidence of financial capability and banking support
- Technical qualification and experience of key personnel
- Evidence of projects executed over the last three years
- List of equipments and technology capacity
- Annual turn over
- VAT registration and evidence of past remittance
- Any other document that may enhance your competency and reliability,
- A sworn affidavit certified as follows:
a) That the document submitted are genuine and correct
b) That none of the directors/partner of the company has been convicted by any court of law
c) That the firm/company is not bankrupt
d) That none of the officers of the procuring entity is former or present Director of the company
- 4. Submission Of Pre-Qualification Documents
The pre-qualification documents in wax-sealed envelope marked “Pre-qualification for construction of drainages and culverts” written on the right corner of the sealed envelope to be delivered by hand to reach the Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Commerce, Industry, Cooperatives & Tourism, Jigawa State on or before 31/1/2014 by 1.00p.m.
5. Important Information
a) All documents submitted will be subjected to verification from relevant agencies
b) Pre-qualification documents can only be submitted within working hours
c) That client will be responsible to this invitation and/or preparation or submission in response to an enquiry
d) That due diligence would be followed as the entire documents submitted would be verified; and the past executed works and contracts shall be visited. Any discrepancies found would disqualify the contractor.
6. Late submission will be rejected
