INTRODUCTION
The Tertiary Education Trust Fund has granted the Federal Polytechnic the 2011, 2012 & 2013 allocation for Library Development Project. The Polytechnic therefore wishes to use the allocation for the under listed Library Development Projects.
LOT 1. Procurement of 2,481 Assorted Title of Books.
Note: Books would be awarded based on areas of specialization i.e Engineering, Management, Environment at and Science
LOT 2. Procurement of 37 nos of Assorted Reference Books
LOT 3. Procurement of 672 nos of Assorted Journals
LOT 4. E-Books Subscription
LOT 5. E-Journals Subscription
LOT 6. Procurement of 134 nos of Library Equipment and Book tags
- Teaching & Learning aid Equipment
- Digitalization of Library Collections
- Printing Machine Phase I
- Binding Machines
- RFID Automation & Management System
- CCTV Camera Security Surveillance System
LOT 7. Procurement of 75 nos of Library Furniture
B. Pre-Qualification Requirements
Interested and competent Contractors are invited to submit Pre-qualification documents with verifiable evidence of, but not limited to the following.
(a) Company profile and organizational structure including names and resumes of key personnel/partners as well as their addresses where’ applicable.
(b) Evidence of company Incorporation and current Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years.
(c) Verifiable list of previous/similar major works executed within the last five years and their locations.
(d) Evidence of financial strength, credit worthiness and solvency.
(e) Provision of VAT Certificates) on executed jobs(s).
(f) List of relevant equipment intended for use on the project indicating their locations (state whether leased, hired or owned).
(g) Evidence of compliance with the provision of the New Pension Scheme.
Only Contractors that have proven capability, relevance and good records of
accomplishments should respond as consideration of bids submitted would be
based in satisfactory assessment of the pre-qualification documents.
Contractors with verifiable uncompleted/abandoned projects need not apply
Collection of Pre-Qualification Form and Bid Documents
(a) Pre-qualification forms will be available for collection between 8.00am and 4.00pm from Monday to Friday in the office of the Director (Physical Planning) upon payment of N10, 000.00 at the Bursary Department covering both Pre-qualification and Bid documents.
(b) Interested contractors are advised to come with flash Drive to copy the Bid Documents that must be returned along the Hard Copy at the time of submission.
D. Submission of Pre-Qualification Documents
All duly completed pre-qualification documents (in duplicate) should be submitted in sealed envelopes with LOT number at the top right handed and addressed to:

P.M.B 5351, Ado-Ekiti and hand delivered to the Office of the Registrar on or before 30th July, 2014. Both the Pre-qualification and Bid documents will be opened at 1.00pm on the closing date in the Polytechnic Council Chambers.
All prospective Contractors and interested members of the public are invited to witness the opening exercise.
Verification of Claims In Pre-Qualification Documents
The Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti reserves the right to verify the authenticity of claims made in the pre-qualification documents submitted.
N.B.
The Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti is not bound to pre-qualify any Contractor.
Failure to comply with any of the instructions above or to provide any of the listed documents will automatically lead to disqualification.
