Invitation for Pre-Qualification of Consultants for Needs Assessments/Tetfund Projects in Kaduna
The Kaduna State University intends to use its Presidential Intervention Funds on NEEDS assessments as well as its merged TETFUND Intervention Funds for 2011-2013 for the execution of the under listed projects:
- Construction/Rehabilitation of hostels
- Construction/rehabilitation of Labs/Studios/Libraries/Workshops/teaching and research farms/veterinary teaching Hospital
- Construction of staff office
- Construction/rehabilitation of classrooms/seminar rooms/auditorium/lecture theatres
- Provision of municipal services (Electricity/water)
- Construction of recreational facilities (football/sport fields etc)
- Construction of 500 seats capacity lecture theatre/auditorium
- Construction of twin lecture halls/theatre
In view of the above, the Management is inviting interested consulting firms to express their interest for any of the following services:
Architecture
Quantity Surveying
Civil/Structural Engineering
Mechanical and Electrical Engineering
Submission should be accompanied with the under-listed documents:
a. Evidence of Incorporating/Registration with Cooperate Affairs
Commission (CAC)
b. Company Current Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years (2011-20130
c. Company audited account for the last three years (2011-2013) certified by a Chartered Accountant/Auditor
d. VAT Registration and Evidence of Remittances in the last three years (2011-2013) to be attached
e. Evidence of registration of firm with ARCON, OSRBN, COREN etc
f. List of similar, verifiable and successfully executed services on completed projects or ongoing by the firms with evidence in the last three years 2011-2013 only
g. List of Managerial, key Technical and Administrative staff of the firm which should include names, curriculum vitae and copies of certificates (Academic and Professional) for each key staff
h. Evidence of remittance of pension contribution fund for staff of the company from reputable Pension Funds Administrators (PFA) as provided in section 16, subsection 6 (d) of the Public Procurement Act, 2007 for year 2013
1. Submission of Documents
Documents bounded in wax-sealed envelope with the relevant field the firm is interested in clearly written at the top right hand corner and addressed to the Registrar, Kaduna State University, Kaduna be hand delivered into the box provided in the Registrar’s office not later than 11am, 21st March, 2014.
2. Opening of Documents
Submitted documents will be opened on Wednesday, 21st March, 2014 at 11am at Kaduna State University, Kaduna Senate Chamber. All interested Consultants and the general public are hereby invited.

a. Submission of documents to Kaduna State University, Kaduna is neither a commitment nor an obligation to engage any Consultants of his agent
b. Advertisement for expression of interest should not be construed as a commitment on the part of Kaduna State University, Kaduna nor shall entitle any Consultants to make any claims whatsoever or seek any indemnity from Kaduna State University, Kaduna.
c. Due diligence would be followed as all documents submitted would be verified. Past executed services, consultants’ offices may be visited for verification. Any discrepancies found would summarily disqualify the consultants.
