Invitation for Pre-Qualification and Notice of Tenders
The Delta Stats University, Abraka hereby invites reputable and competent contractors for pre-qualification and Tender for the following projects:
1. Lot I: Construction of Chemistry & Biology Laboratory
2. Lot II: Construction of Physics Laboratory
Pre-Qualification/Bidding Criteria
1. Evidence of Registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and Delta State University
ii. Company Audited Account for the last three (3) years duly stamped.
iii. Evidence of Tax clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years.
iv. Evidence of Value Added Tax (VAT) Registration and past remittances.
v. Evidence of compliance with PENCOM Act 2004.
vi. Evidence of compliance with the provision of the (training contribution to the fund)
vii. Evidence of payment of non-refundable pre-qualification fee of N50, 000.00 (Fifty Thousand Naira Only) for each project. Failure to provide (i)- (vi) above will automatically disqualify the bidder
Other Requirements
- Company organization structure
- Resume of key Administrative and Technical Staff available for the project with academic/professional qualifications, contract telephone numbers and e-mail addresses.
- Verifiable evidence of similar jobs successfully executed or being executed over the past five (5) years stating, client, cost, location, evidence of Award and Completion and photographs
- List of verifiable plants and equipment owned by your company, this should clearly state the current location. in cases where such equipment may be leased, evidence of such lease agreements should be shown.
- Evidence of financial capacity from a reputable bank.
- Health and safety policy of your company.
All the required pre-qualification documents should be neatly bound and sealed in an envelope should be marked as “Pre-Qualification Documents for……..(State the specific project) and are to be submitted not later than 13th March 2014 and addressed to:

P.M.B 1, Abraka.
Not later than 20th March 2014.
Only Pre-qualified bidders will be invited to participate in the Commercial bidding on payment of N50,000.00 (Fifty Thousand Naira Only).
Tender documents are available at the office of the Director, Physical Planning Division, Site 1, Delta State University, Abraka.
