Invitation for Pre-Qualification and Furniture and Tender for Construction, Renovation, Supply of Furniture and Science Equipment

1. INTRODUCTION:

The Government of Taraba State is desirous to renovate, construct supply of furniture and science equipment in her secondary schools. This Is part of the commitment to ensuring qualitative education in the state and improve learning atmosphere in our secondary schools.

INVITATION FOR BIDS:

In view of the above, the government of Taraba State hereby invites competent reputable and experienced bidders for renovation, construction, supply of furniture and sciences equipment in selected secondary schools in the State, after payment of N15,000 for bidding documents to Ministry of Education Sani Abacha Secretariat, Jalingo and N10,000 nonrefundable deposit for processing fee. Interested and reputable contractor with experience in the above aforementioned fields should submit their quotations with the following information:-

i.  Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC);

ii.    Tax clearance Certification for the last three years (2011,2012 and 2013) verifiable from Federal Inland Revenue Service, or Board of Internal Revenue;

iii.      Evidence of Registration and compliance with PENCOM;

1. Evidence of Registration and compliance with ITF.
2. Current audited account for the last 3 years.
3. Provide detailed company profile including -Technical/financial qualification and experience of key Professional Staff
4. Evidence of verification past experience in handling similar projects (past award letters and job completion certificate as proof

viii. Evidence of payment of a non-refundable Tender fee of N15,000 In favor of Education, Jalingo;

ix. A sworn affidavit confirming that all information presented and attached are true and correct of the company

x. Any other information/document that will enhance the company’s application;

The bid documents will be made available from 7/07/2014 to prospective bidders on presentation of evidence of payment of ₦15,000 for documents and non-refundable fee of ₦I0,000 as processing fee to the office of:

Al completed bids must reach the Office Of Director, Planning And Research And Statistics Ministry Of Education, General Sani Abacha Secretariat Jalingo on or before 10:00am 5/8/2014 at which time they will be opened in the presence of bidders or representatives at the conference half of General Sani Abacha Secretariat, Jalingo who may wish to attend

E. Submission

The tender and other supporting documents in respect of this bid which should be in three copies in A4 format and spiral bound are to be submitted not later than 10:00 am 5^th August, 2014 and bid opening will be done immediately. All bids must be submitted in scaled envelopes clearly marked “Technical Bid” and “Financial Bid” with appropriate project title and lot number with the company name dearly indicated on the top left side of the envelops and addressed to:

F. Additional Information:

1. This advertisement or invitation to tender shall not be construed as a commitment on the part of the government of Taraba state, nor shall entail potential bidders to make any claim (s) whatsoever or seek any indemnity form the Taraba state Government incurs any liability in an event that a particular procurement is cancelled.
2. The Government is not under any obligation to explain to any contractor for not qualifying and also dot bound to choose the lowest bidder.
3. Late submissions of bids will not only be rejected but returned unopened to the bidders.
