General Procurement Notice
Introduction
(1.1) Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), a Parastatal of the Federal Ministry of Transport hereby alerts Consultants/Contractors/Suppliers of opportunities to tender for projects in the 2015 fiscal year. This is in compliance with provisions of Public Procurement Act (PPA) 2007 Part V (19) and clarified in Procurement Procedures Manual, Section 5 (page 34).

(3.0) Notation
This Notice shall not be construed as an Invitation for Bids (IFB)/ Request for Expression of Interest (EOI) nor Request for Proposal (RFP). All interested Bidders are advised to regularly check the Agency’s website, National Newspapers and Federal Tenders Journal for the actual Invitations.
The Agency is not bound to Request for Bids for any project that is not eventually approved in the budget. Conversely, any project not listed herewith but is included in the approved budget shall be treated appropriately.
