Public Display Exercise on the Draft Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Report on the Proposed Calaro Oil Palm Plantation Extension Project in Akamkpa and Odukpani Local Government Areas of Cross River State by Biase Plantations Limited
In accordance with the environmental impact assessment (EIA) act cap E12 LFN 2004, which makes it mandatory’ for proponents of all new major development activities to carry out environmental impact assessment (EIA) for their proposed projects, the federal ministry of environment hereby announces twenty-one (21) working days public notice for information and comments on the draft EIA report submitted by Biase Plantation Limited.

(1) Akamkpa Local Government Area, Headquarters Akamkpa, Gross River State.
(2) Odukpani Local Government Area, Headquarters Odukpani, Cross River State.

Project Description;-
The proposed project will entail the extension of the existing Colaro Oil Palm Plantation to Uwet I and Uwet II Communities in Akampka Local Government Area as Well as To Aton Odot and Ikot Eyidot Communities in Odukpani Local Government Area in Cross River State.
