(1) INTRODUCTION
The University of Port Harcourt intends to carry out Rehabilitation/Renovation of the following Needs Assessment Intervention/TETFUND 2014 Special Intervention Projects for University of Port Harcourt

(2) ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Interested and competent contractors wishing to be pre-qualified must submit the following:
(i) Evidence of registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission;
(ii) Tax Clearance and VAT Certificates for the last three years;
(iii) Company’s Audited Accounts for the last three years
(iv) Evidence of financial capacity from a reputable bank;
(v) Detailed Company Profile;
(vi) Evidence of experience of similar jobs executed in the last five years;
(vii) Evidence of compliance with Pension reform Act 2004 (as amended);
(viii) Evidence of compliance with the amended Industrial training Fund Act, 2011
(vix) A Sworn affidavit that no Board member of the University of Port Harcourt has vested Interest in the company;
(x) A Sworn affidavit that none of the Directors has been convicted in any country of any criminal offence;
(3) COLLECTION OF DOCUMENT
The documents should be collected in the office of the Director, Department of Physical Planning & Development, Senate Building, and Permanent Site.
(4) SUBMISSION OF THE PRE-QUALIFICATION DOCUMENTS;
Documents must be in sealed envelopes, labelled “Pre-qualification for (appropriate project)” or “Expression of Interest” for (appropriate project)” at the top left hand corner and addressed/hand delivered to;

(5) DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION
The deadline for submission will be 11.00 am, on Monday, July 06, 2015. The bids will be opened on the same day at 12.00 noon, in the Senate Chambers of the University Senate Building, in the presence of all bidders, financing/regulatory bodies, Professional bodies and Non-Governmental Agencies.
