Invitation for Expression of Interest in Consultancy
Modibbo Adama University of Technology, Yola (formerly, Federal University of Technology, Yola) wishes to invite interested Consultants to submit their Expression of interest for the under-listed services for the University.
Project Management Consultancy (Architects, Engineers, Quantity Surveyors) for:
(1) Construction of proposed Multi-purpose Twin Lecture Theatre,
(2) Construction of Academic Resource Centre, and
(3) Design for the School of Management and Information Technology

Eligibility Criteria
(i) Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and evidence of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in case of a joint venture;
(ii) Tax Clearance Certificate for the past three years issued by Federal Board of Internal Revenue;
(iii) Clearance certificate from National Pension Commission as evidence of compliance with Pensions Reform Act 2004;
(iv) Evidence of compliance with Industrial Training Fund Amendment Act 2011;
(v) Evidence of registration of firm with the relevant professional regulatory bodies, where applicable;
(vi) Detailed company profile indicating, amongst others, the areas of core competence of the firm and that of the Principal;
(vii) Evidence of the firm’s experiences as sector specialist with relevant experience; and
(viii) Qualification and experiences of key staff to be deployed for this assignment
Submission of Pre-Qualification and Tender Documents
Original copy of Expression of Interest must be packaged in sealed envelope clearly marked “EXPRESSION OF INTEREST AS CONSULTANT TO UNDERTAKE PROJECT MANAGEMENT SERVICES” and addressed to: The Registrar,
Modibbo Adama University of Technology, Yola
All submission should be deposited in the bidding box of the Registrar within the hours of 9am – 4pm on University working days on or before 19th December, 2014, by 12 noon.
Late submissions shall not be accepted
This advertisement shall not be construed as commitment on the part of the University to appoint any consultant, nor shall it entitle any consultant submitting documents to claim any indemnity from the Fund. The University reserves the right to take decisions on any of the documents received.
Opening of Tenders
All qualified submissions shall be publically opened on 19th December, 2014 by 12:00 noon in the Council Chamber of the University, All Consultants expressing interests are invited to attend or send their representatives.
