Invitation for Technical and Financial Bid
Federal Government College, Billiri, Combe State, a Unity School under Federal Ministry of Education (FME) is desirous of executing some approved Capital/MDG Projects under 2014 budget appropriation.
Invitation
In view of the above, registered and reputable Contractors are hereby invited to submit both technical and financial bids for the execution of the following project:-
Lot 1: Provision of 2Nos Water Treatment facilities
Lot 2: Construction and furnishing of 3Nos block of 3 classrooms each
Lot 3: Construction of 1No Clinic Complex
Lot 4: Construction of 1 No girls’ hostel
Lot 5: Renovation of 3Nos boys’ hostel and 3Nos girls hostels
Lot 6: Construction of V.I.P toilets with bathrooms in hostel area (MDG project)
Lot 7: Construction of V.I.P toilers without bathrooms in classrooms area (MDG project)
Lot 8: Construction of industrial borehole and reticulation of water in the school compound (MDG project)
Collection of Bid Documents
Interested companies should collect tender document from Bursary Office, Federal Government College, Billiri, upon payment of (N20,000.00) twenty thousand naira only non refundable fee for the document, between Monday 21st July, 2014 to Monday 1st September, 2014.
Submission of Tender/Bids
Completed document should be submitted in two (2) hard copies in sealed envelopes with the tittle of the project and lot identification clearly written at the top right hand of the envelop and address to:

Closing Date:
Submission of Tender/Bids closes at 12:00 noon on Monday, 1st September, 2014.
Enquiries
All enquiries relating to the submission, of the above stated proposals, should be directed to the Secretary School Tenders’ Board, Federal Government College, Billiri, Gombe, State.
Requirement from Contractors
- Evidence of company incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
2. Evidence of registration with FIRS/ National Pension commission
3. Evidence of registration with industrial Training Fund (ITF)
- Three (3) years Tax Clearance Certificate
- Bank Reference Letter
- Bidders Covering Letter
- Name of Personnel including professionals
- Three (3) letters of contract award and executed
- Three (3) completion/valuation letters
- Audited Account of the previous years
- Annual Turnover
- Copy of VAT Clearance
- Evidence of variable experiences in similar projects executed, giving names of clients.
Payment:
All payment should be made by bank draft to the Account Department of the college.
Note:
Please note that contractors are to tender for a maximum of two (2) lots/projects.
Opening of Bids/Tender
The Bids/Tender received will be publicly opened by 12:00 noon on Monday 1st September, 2014 at the College Library building. Federal Government College, Billin, Gombe State.
Failure to comply with the above stated document may automatically result in disqualification.
