The Delta State University, Abraka, hereby invites reputable, competent and experienced contractors to bid in the pre-qualification for year 2013 TetFund Needs Assessment of Nigerian Universities Special Presidential Intervention-Phase 1 projects

Pre-qualification Requirements:
Mandatory Requirements (Original Documents must be presented for Sighting)
- Evidence of incorporation with the Cooperate Affairs Commission (CAC)
- Company Audited Account for the last three (3) years
- Current tax clearance certificate for the last three (3) years
- Evidence of Remittances of Value Added Tax (VAT)
- Evidence of compliance with PENCOM requirements (with certificates)
- Evidence of compliance with Industrial Training Fund (ITF)
- Verifiable evidence of similar projects successfully executed over the past five (5) years stating; Client, Cost, Location, Evidence of Award, Completion and Photographs.
- Resume of key administrative and Technical Staff available for the project with academic/professional qualifications, contact telephone numbers and E-mails addresses
- List of verifiable plants and equipment owned by your company. This should clearly state the current location. In cases where such equipment may be leased, evidence of such lease agreements should be shown
- Company profile
- Evidence of financial capacity from a reputable bank
Submission:
All the required pre-qualification documents should be neatly bound and sealed in an envelope marked at top right hand corner as “Pre-qualification Documents for…. (State the specific project) and address to:

The documents shall be dropped in the pre-qualification box at the office of the Registrar.
Deadline for Submission:
The documents shall be submitted not later than 12noon on 1st April, 2014.
Opening of Pre-qualification Documents:
Pre-qualification document shall be opened immediately after 12:00 noon in the Vice-Chancellor’s Conference room on the 1st April, 2014. All bidders are expected tom attend. Interested members of the public and private sectors, professionals in the construct ion industry, Non-governmental organizations and journalists are invited to witness the exercise.

Please Note:
- The participation in the opening does not guarantee any person the right to be selected or awarded any contract.
- That this advertisement for invitation for pre-qualification should neither be misconstrued as commitment on the part of the University nor should it entitle any contractor/firm to make any claims whatsoever and/or seek any indemnity from the University.
- The University reserves the right to reject any or all expression of interest to terminate the selection process at any time without any liability to the University.
- Any document(s) submitted after the closing time and date shall not be considered.
- If at any time during the process it is discovered that the submission made by any contractor is invalid/fake the contractor will be automatically disqualified.
