1.0 Introduction
The Gombe State University, Gombe in line with the requirement for the due process in the award of contracts for seeds Assessment of Nigerian Public Universities: Special Presidential Intervention – Phase 1 Projects hereby invites competent and qualified contractors to pre-qualify for:
LOT 1:
a) Proposed construction of 500-Bed Space 3-Storey Students Hostel Block.
b) Proposed construction of 500-Bed Space 3-Storey Students Hostel Block.
c) Proposed construction of 500-Bed Space 3-Story Students
Hostel Block.
LOT II: Proposed construction of liberty and Laboratory Block.
LOT III: proposed construction of Twin 160 Seat Lecture Theatre.
LOT IV: Proposed procurement/Furnishing of 3No: 500-Bed Space Hostel Block.
2.0 Pre-Qualification requirements
a. Evidence of Registration/incorporation of Company with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC;.
b. Company’s Current Tax Clearance Certificate for the pass three (3) years.
c. Company’s VAT Registration Certificate and Evidence of past VAT Remittances.
d. Letter of attestation of good financial standing of the Company including the name and address of the Bank(s).
e. Evidence of previous similar Contracts starting contract value and showing evidence of award and timely completion.
f. Evidence of company’s Registration with the University.
g. Evidence of Certification/Exemption from Pencom.
h. Evidence of compliance with ITF act 2011 (as amended).
3.0 Submission of Pre-Qualification Documents
All prospective Contractors/Suppliers should submit their documents (a-h) mentioned above in sealed envelopes addressed to:

P.M.B 127, Gombe.
Submission closes by 12:00pm. 26th March, 2014
Late submissions will not be accepted.
Names of pre-qualified Contractors as well as other matters related thereto will be published on the Notice Board of the University.

That this is not an invitation to tender and also note that the University is not bound to accept any particular applicant or any condition attached to any application.
