Invitation for Expression of Interest as Operator, Lagos State University International School (Secondary) Ojo
Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified Professional Secondary School Organisations for the management of the Lagos State University International School (Secondary).
1.0 Background:
(a) Lagos State University International School (Secondary) which is located within the Lagos State University Campus, Ojo, is established to provide qualitative post primary education for children of staff and non-staff alike. The International School will be a model for other schools in terms of quality academic and moral standards. The School will be of high International standard and self sustaining and in accordance with the decision of the Governing Council of the University, it will be managed by experienced Professional Operator of Post-primary School Education.

2.0 Scope of Work
(i) Responsibility to the Board of the School for the general management of the School:
(ii) Responsibility for running the School and ensuring the attainment of
International Standard and high academic excellence;
(iii) Responsibility for setting standards for the admission of students into the
School;
(iv) Maintenance of proper accounts of the School;
(vi) Responsibility for the implementation of all other directives of the Board of the School, University Management and the University Governing Council.
3.0 Requirements:
All intending Organisations are expected to have relevant professional experience in the Management/Operation of a Secondary School of International Standard. In addition, each applicant will provide:
(i) Certificate of Incorporation/Registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission.
(ii) Current Tax Clearance for the last three (3) years.
(iii) Evidence of Company Financial Standing,
(iv) Evidence of Registration with Lagos State University, in appropriate category of Contractor,
(v) Profile of Organisation, including list and relevant Academic Qualification(s) of Management Team/Directors, evidence of successful Management of a Secondary School of International Standard with a minimum of Ten (10) years experience in such,
(vi) Evidence of Registration with relevant Professional Body(ies), (of both the organisation and individual Directors),
(vii) Evidence of Registration with relevant Government Ministries or Agencies, i.e. Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN), etc.
4.0 General Information
(a) Applicants are to submit Ten (10) copies of all documents specified above.
(b) All enquiries regarding the details about this advertisement should be directed to the Office of the Registrar, Lagos State University between 10.00 am – 4.00 pm from Mondays – Fridays.
5.0 Application Fee
Interested applicants should pay a non-refundable fee of Twenty Five Thousand Naira (N25.000.00) only to Lagos State University Account in the following designated Bank:

6.0 Submission:
All applications for the Expression of interest should be in sealed envelope and marked EXPRESSION OF INTEREST IN THE MANAGEMENT OF LAGOS STATE-UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL (SECONDARY) and returned either by Hand OR Courier Service to reach the address stated below NOT later than 31st March, 2014.
