Advertisement for Direct Solicitation of Electrification of Various Towns, Extension of Electricity Supply in Various Towns and Villages of Kebbi State

This is to inform the general public that the Kebbi State Government wishes to embark on the electrification and extension of the following projects under direct solicitation tendering procedure

2.       Scope of Works

The scope of works for the projects shall include the following:

1. Site clearance, survey and pegging.
2. Digging of holes for HT & LT poles, dressing and stringing of alluminium conductor.
3. Construction of substation fencing and plinth, installation of transformers and other electrical materials.
4. Connection to the national grid.
5. 500KVA/11KV transformers
6. 100mm (alluminium conductor steel re-enforced (ACSR)
7. 70mm alluminium conductor
8. Civil works

Only registered companies currently resident in the state and currently exiting similar project are invited to submit their quotations.

3.       Qualification for Bidding

All companies/individuals interested in bidding for the projects are to forward the under listed document to the Ministry for screening:

a)     Tax clearance certificate

b)    Tenders Board Registration certificate

c)     Letters of confirmation by applicant’s Bankers on having financial capacity to execute the contract.

d)    Certification of incorporation for companies/consulting firms

e)     Memorandum and Articles of Association

f)      Registration with Professional/Regulatory Bodies as would be applicable.

g)     List of company/consulting firms personnel including qualification and year of experience in the field,

h)    List of the company/consulting (inn’s machineries, equipment and instruments,

i)       List of previous works/services executed and evidence of performance.

4.       Submission of Quotations

All companies/individuals pre-qualified are to submit their quotations for the project on or before 13^th November, 2013 to: the Ministry for evaluation and recommendation to Tenders Board for the award of the contract/contracts.

Please note that, the Ministry of Water Resources and Rural Development and the State Tenders Board reserve the right to reject any quotation that does not meet its requirements.
