This invitation follows the General Procurement Notice
(GPN) for this project that appeared in two national dailies on the 15th March 2012, UNDB online AfDB84-818/12, Issue No. 818 of 16th March 2012 and on the African Development Bank Group’s Internet Website.
The Federal Government of Nigeria on behalf of Kaduna State has received financing from the African Development Fund towards the cost of the Zaria Water Supply Expansion and Sanitation Project, and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this loan to payments under the contract for Management, Commercialization Studies and Customer Enumeration.
The services under this project are Management, Commercialization Studies and Customer Enumeration, which includes collaboration with Kaduna State Water Board (KSWB)to transform the agency into an autonomous body, introduce modern utility management practices into the agency and also equip them with computerized administrative systems and models that will govern their affair. The assignment is divided into 5Parts as follows:

| 4 | Review the Federal Ministry of Water Resources Low Income Household Strategy Study (LIHSS) document for adoption by the Kaduna State Government |
| 5 | Carry out a Customer Enumeration and Orientation in Zaria

The Executing Agency is Kaduna State Water Board and the Implementation period is 14 months.
The Kaduna State Water Board now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants may constitute joint-ventures to enhance their chances of qualification.
Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank’s “Rules and Procedures for the use of Consultants” May 2008, which is available on the Bank’s website at http://www.afdb.org . Borrowers are under no obligation to shortlist any consultant who expresses interest. Interested consultants may obtain further information at the address below during office hours 8.00am to 4.00pm.
